Your Academy continuously advocates for the specialty's priorities on many fronts, including: health care delivery, payment reform and accountability, quality improvement, and disability and rehabilitation research. Your Academy fights on your behalf to ensure that PM&R thrives in the ever-changing health care environment, by vocalizing your perspectives in Washington D.C. and beyond, through the submission of formal testimony and written comments on a variety of physiatric issues, including legislation and regulations that impact the specialty. Your Academy also actively collaborates with several coalitions to submit comments that will advance the Academy’s policy, reimbursement and quality agenda.
