Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves of all things romance and adventure.

That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

I’m seriously so damn addicted to Nana Malone’s books, her royals are just EVERYTHING!

ARC received in exchange for an honest review

I’m a huge sucker for a new royal book from Nana Malone because let me tell you something right now, this woman can write some seriously awesome Royal books and Tristan, well damn that man was an excellent edition to this series.

Return of the Prince is centred around Tristan and Ariel and everything that’s going on in their lives. It’s crazy, it’s unexpected and it’s absolutely entertaining and I loved every second of reading this beauty.

The relationship between these two is strained, with their past and everything after that but there’s a twist thrown in here, one you won’t even think of because I sure as hell didn’t.

This book was amazing with just these two but throw in the other royals and their guards and damn, it’s excellent. It’s always good to hear from Penny, I freaking love that woman so much she’s too much fun and then Sebastian, Lucas and Roone. It’s always fun to see them pop up.

Nana Malone did incredible with bringing Tristan and Ariel’s story to life. They’re so fun to read about and I seriously can’t wait to see what these girls get up to in book two, no good I’m sure.

Return of the Prince is a fun read with a little sexy and a lot surprising. These characters will capture you’re attention from start to finish and you’ll enjoy spending every minute with them and be left needing more.

Finally. FINALLY the story I've been waiting for in this awesome royal series - Ariel's. Ariel, the fierce and fiercely loyal guard who's now a Knight and owner of her own private security business. I've been waiting a long time for her story and I'm so glad Nana Malone gave her the very best story, the most entertaining, the most tension-filled, just the most.

When Ariel gets a call from her long-ago love, her teenage love, her only love, Prince Tristan, it seems to set off a chain of events she never saw coming. Tristan has been exiled from Winston Isles for a long time, and he desperately wants to come home. But if he wants to make it home and stay alive he'll have to contend with the royal guards, Knights, his cousin, King Sebastian, sends to watch over him. That one of those guards is Ariel, his first and only love, is something he wasn't prepared for, doesn't want to deal with. After all, he's an engaged man now, even if his engagement isn't really as it seems, and Ariel is the one who never responded to his hundreds of letters asking her to come to him after he left to go play professional football (soccer).

Tension aside, though, these two have to get through her assignment with their lives (and their hearts) intact, so he needs to keep his hands and lips off the only woman he's ever loved. No problem. Right? Right...

OMG!! I can't tell you how excited I was when I found out Ariel's story was finally getting told. She's been intriguing, and awesome from the very first page of this whole royal series, and her own story more than lived up to all that intrigue. She's smart, tough and supremely loyal to those she loves and those she serves, and I was on the edge of my seat as her and Tristan's story played out. Of course, it's not even close to being over, and the cliffhanger, as usual, about killed me, so I'm now awaiting To Love a Prince very, very impatiently! I know I always say how as each royal story gets told, that it's my favorite, but this time it's absolutely the truth, no one's story can even come close to being as amazing as Ariel's. She's the true star of this story and I'm just glad the first part of it finally got told.

ARC via author for an honest review.

I’ve been waiting to read Ariel’s story since the beginning of all these stories, she’s always been one of my favorite characters alongside Penny, she’s a badass and I wanted to read more about her...
I loved the story, especially because we got to read about some of the characters. It’s always good to read about Penny and Sebastian and how they’re doing.
Since Jax’s books I wanted to know Ariel’s and Tristan’s story, because it was obvious that they had unfinished business and I loved the parts where they fought knowing that all they wanted to do was kiss each other 🔥
I can’t wait to read the next book and see how their story will finish.

The moment we have all been waiting for. Ariel Scott gets her own book and by heck, is it amazingly brilliant! Throughout previous Winston Isle books, we’ve experienced the pain and heartache that encases Ariels life. Crumbs have been scattered all over; speaking for myself, I so hoped that we would get a story surrounding Ariel and Tristan.

The story is not what I expected, it became so much more than a simple romance. Ariel has been on page for every single book in this universe and trying to get a read on the intelligent Royal Guard was complex even at the simplest of times. Ariel owns her mistakes. Even when life took a dramatic turn and changed the entire course of her life she just kept on going without a single falter. I have zero guilt admitting Ariel is my favourite character in this series. She’s spunky, intelligent and good with weapons. What’s not to like?

And who could neglect to mention the relationship she has with Penny. Best friends for years, fighting through thick and thin. These women are the embodiment of strength and femininity. They won’t ever sugar coat anything for each other and hold nothing back. Their love is stronger than any familial bond could ever reproduce.

‘“We are going to do something that’s probably going to get me arrested. And very likely, one of us might get maimed in the process.

Sweet. When do we leave?

You don't what to know what it is?

Well, you’re calling me before you get arrested. So that means that you need help.

No, I don’t need your help. I want you to talk me out of it.

Not gonna happen. You know how this goes. I’m Thelma to your Louise.

Are you sure I’m Louise?

Well, we can both be Louise. I really don’t care. If you’re into something, I’m into something.

There's a good chance someone is going to get hurt.

Oh, fantastic! I have the perfect outfit for a kicking.

...You’re crazier than I am.”’

Tristan is a complicated man. One who holds his word in high regard. His oath is his bond, etc.
Coming from the family he comes from and having the nightmares of his past hanging around his neck, I’m completely sure we don’t have the full picture on his past yet. Lets hope we get all these outstanding questions answered in the sequel.

Neither is quite ready to admit how they still feel. So much water under the bridge and scars running deeper than anyone can say. Young love, especially first love carves itself out in our hearts and leaves us missing vital pieces. Ariel expends so much energy fighting herself over the one person she felt she could always trust. Plus, having to be in the position she is in makes for a very turbulent flight.

‘...my brain was thinking about the assignment I claimed I didn’t want, worrying about someone I couldn’t have.
Stop it. Tristan was a grown up.’

I haven’t been quite this frustrated with a book in quite some time. Two opposing forces who crashed into each other, and with the impact still reverberating throughout their bodies they are thrust apart until the next encounter.

‘“Well, in that case, we’ll need to figure out how to get around it because my job right now is to watch you. So we’ll both have to figure out how to work together. That first rule of Keep You Alive Club is no one talks about the past.
Ever. Second rule is you don’t ever kiss me again.”’

When these two finally meet in the middle I could feel myself visibly relax. Getting so wound up over a fictional couple truly shows how much I love these books. Mark my words; this is the best book Ms. Malone has written to date. Thank you again for writing the book I have been craving, without ever realising how much I needed it.

👑👑👑 A lifetime ago, and they might as well be strangers. 👑👑👑

This is the book I’ve been waiting for. I’ve loved Ariel through all the through the books of the other characters, and she is tiny, fiery and extremely bad@r$e. Her past with the exiled Prince Tristan has both interested and taunted me, and I have not been disappointed. It’s been 10 years since he left her, reneging on the promise they’d made between them.

Tristan hints at a tormented past at the hands of his traitorous brother. He’s has gone on to become an international soccer star while his brother, having been caught in treasonous acts against the rightful ruler of the Winston Isles, languishes in prison. Now though, serious attempts are being made on his life. He has business to take care of back on the Isles, and seeing Ariel again is bringing up the feelings that have been his unwanted companion for the last decade.

King Sebastian is playing political chess with the Royal Council and lives are at stake. This duet has got to be the most intriguing of the whole series because the underlying plot throughout appears to be coming to a head. This being said, each duet stands alone, and Nana Malone keeps everyone appraised of the situation as each new characters story begins.

Reading any of Nana Malone’s books is always like having a fun conversation with friends. The crazy banter, sexual innuendos, the laughs, they’re all there. So is the serious stuff that we all cover with our mates, and the appreciation that we have for them when they’re there for us when we’re down or in trouble is felt by our characters for each other. That, all of that is in Nana’s books and I can’t described enough how much I look forward to reading them. The mere fact that I keep going back, even with my extreme hatred for cliff-hangers, says more than words can. 4.5 Stars, and I can’t wait for the second part of this duet!

A friendly warning from true experience. Do not, I mean absolutely do not start Return of the Prince if you don't have enough time to finish it in one setting. Because you will lose your mind. This is some seriously addictive writing by Nana Malone. I was turning pages like crazy because I just had to know what is happening next in Ariel and Tristan's life. And then she left me with that massive cliffhanger. I need answers. I am so high and lost in the story.

Can we take a minute to pay respect to Ariel? I have a disturbing crush on this woman. A woman with lethal combination of beauty, brain and strength is my ending. And Nana Malone did a fabulous job with this sassy, sweet, emotional and badass girl. And then she gave us Tristan. Good lord can a man be any more perfect? I am not even talking about his muscles. It is his big as a sky heart. I melted in spot when the possessive protective Tristan came out to play. They have some terribly complicated history but Tristan is in danger and Ariel can't let him die. Duty calls. Heart breaks. Chaos ensues. Moves has been set but who will win the game?

Nana Malone has a flair for writing romance books with a significant thriller component. She has this really unique way of story telling. She is expert in creating vibrant chemistry which Tristan and Ariel have in spades. I cheered for them, I cursed, I cried, I smiled, I rejoiced and I connected. She can incorporate smart ass humor so smoothly. I was laughing out loud and chuckling while reading the conversations between Tristan and Ariel. I was chewing my nails and tapping my foot in the tense dangerous scenes. I was swooning hard with the story of starcrossed lovers with second chance. This is really the complete package. A straight up full on entertainer. I am raking my head for theories about what may happen next. But I know Nana Malone will surprise me. And Winston Isles has just become a lot more intriguing place to be!

You will love Return of the Prince irrespective of what your favorite trope is. The deceptive showbiz. The royal conspiracy. A breathtaking heart-rending absolutely stunning love story in middle of all the chaos. And all this goodness wrapped with Nana Malone's sharp intoxicating writing. Simply a story you cannot miss.

So, this book just started off amazing. And continued to be amazing until the very end. While I've come to expect this from Nana Malone, I certainly don't take it for granted. This is a truly talented author, and Return of the Prince is just the latest of her amazing books.

I have been waiting for Ariel's book for a while. She just got more interesting and made me crave her story with every new piece of information I got in previous stories. I liked that this was a second chance romance story, and Ariel's scenes with Tristan were everything I love about the second chance sub-genre. The fights over the past, the tension both from pent up anger and desire, the chemistry and of course that great moment when they give into everything they've been fighting. This book lived up to everything I hoped it would be. And now I cannot wait for the next book in this duet.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

They said I'd never come home again...they were wrong. there is one person worth returning home for. Her. One little problem. She hates me. She should, I left her behind. Now I'm back and with a score to settle, and I will do what ever it takes to win her back. Even it if means spilling me secrets.

Return of the Prince is the first book in The Prince Duet from Nana Malone. This is the story of Ariel who we met in the Cheeky Prince, and Tristian. This book is filled with mysteries and will have you guessing through the entire thing. Of course your going to have to wait for the second book to find out if you are right. I loved these characters and as always Nana Malone has written an amazing book that kept me very engrossed and not able to put it down. I can not wait for the next book to find out what happens. This is a book that you do not want to miss.

Well so far this book is really good. Since this is part of a duet, I will have to wait until part two comes out to get a resolution. One thing I really like about this book, and the author’s writing, is all of the suspense and intrigue wrapped up in the romance. In addition, there are so many emotions rolling all around these pages. And it seems like there’s more than one thing going on, instead of there just being one main plot. That is an aspect I’m really enjoying because the author keeps me guessing.

Ariel and Tristan are the main characters. He is a Prince and in addition to Ariel owning her own security firm, she works for the king as well. Ariel and Tristan have a past and haven’t seen each other for 10 years. And when they finally come face-to-face, it is not a happy moment. There is a story here which I cannot tell you about without spoilers. The romance, between Ariel and Tristan, unfolds slowly and will have you wondering who was in the wrong. I have to admit, that it was difficult to like Tristan for most of this half of the duet. He seemed to be a good person, and obviously has a good heart, but it’s also obvious that he doesn’t make the right choices. He frustrated me too often. He was hot and cold and I didn’t like how he was treating Ariel. However, he redeems himself worthy of my admiration in the last pages. There is a cliffhanger so be patient, Book two in the duet is expected to release soon after. I can’t wait.

This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it 😊

‘Return of the Prince’ is the first book of Nana Malone’s ‘The Prince Duet’. Annnddd finaly Ariel’s book is here. I have been waiting for Ariel's story since Cheeky Prince; it's been a long wait, but definitely worth it. I cannot pass without saying this, so far Ariel is my favorite character in the Winston Isles books.

Ariel Scott, red haired firecracker, is smart, loyal, sassy and a total bad*ss with weapons. After leaving Royal Guard, she opened her own security firm Royal Elite, but thanks to our King Sebastian, she also became a King Knight. All her closest friends are in relationships; we already know our beloved queen and king, Penny and Sebastian, Bryna is engaged to Prince Lucas, our Princess Jessa is engaged to Earl/Royal Guard/King Knight Roone. The only other bachelor in the group is Jinx and she is not really in the inner circle. After reading this story, it makes so much sense why she was never with someone. Her first and only love left her the day they decided to runaway. After 10 years without a contact, she was assigned to protect the man she was never able to let go. Prince Tristan is an international soccer star. Since leaving Winston Isles 10 years ago, he always wanted to come back to his home. However, after his brother Prince Ashton’s betrayal, everything became harder for him. Now there are people trying kill him and his fiancée, and his cousin decides to send his King Knights to protect him, his life gets more complicated. After not seeing each other for ten years, now they have to spend too much time in close proximity. Even though, they both work really hard to fight the attraction and there comes a point, they both fail. 10 years of heartbreak is not easy to get over and there are still too many things that is still hidden. The book ends with a huge cliffhanger, I already have a clue regarding who is trying to kill Tristan but with Nana Malone you never know :)

‘Return of the Prince’ is full of suspense, action steamy moments that you won’t be able to put it down. I cannot wait to read second book of the series and happily there won’t be a long wait. ‘To Love a Prince’ will be release on May 21st. Also, it was great to see the whole gang again. I am also hoping and looking forward to read Trace, Jameson, Zia and Tamsin’s stories.

Would I recommend this book: Yes.
Would I re-read this book: Already did :)
Would I read future books by this author: Yes.

OMG!!!! What a start to The Prince Duet. In my opinion this is one of the best books Nana Malone has written as a start to a series. You get some returning characters which is always fun for me. I have been waiting for Ariel's story since Cheeky Prince, it's been a long wait, but in my opinion well worth the wait. As I was reading I kind of figured figured one thing out, who was behind their split. I think I figured who is behind trying to kill Tristian, and I thing I know who's doing it. Nana Malone gives you suspense, royal intrigue, and a slow build up to love. In my opinion Nana Malone did a good job of making you feel the struggle both Ariel and Tristian were dealing with. In my opinion Tristian is not likable the first 70% of the book, he really frustrated me. In the last 30% of book everything is revealed and Tristian redeems himself. The end is a big fat cliffhanger but I don't think it will be long for To Love a Prince. If you have read the other royal stories, I think you will love this book. If you are a Nana Malone fan, in my opinion she does not disappoint. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader's copy.

Did you ever have a book grab you from the moment you open it? Well this is one of those books. For those of us who are fans of this series this is the story we’ve been waiting for what seems like a long time. Guess what I’m not disappointed.
One of the things I like about in this series is that the author writes strong heroines. Don’t mistake strong with not feminine. The two qualities are not mutually exclusive of the other. When the author writes them and describes their appearance their personalities shine through and you can actually visualize them in action. This is no different. I’ve been a fan of Ariel since the first book, flaws and all. She has her issues but she’s loyal to a fault. Tristian of course is devastatingly handsome and a tad arrogant. Of course he has his hidden reasons as well as his flaws.
I don’t do spoilers cause I don’t feel it’s fair to the author. You can read the blurb or better yet read the book. Besides, it’s a mystery romance. There’s many scenarios to run through. I have my suspicions and in book two I’ll find out what kind of sleuth I actually am. The true essence of the book besides the mysteries is the human questions it brings to the table. Are we responsible for the sins of others even if they’re in our family? Do they define us? Can we get beyond the past? The one biggie is why don’t we communicate better? When did we become mind readers? It’s not outrageous to be written into the story because that’s what makes this so real. Yes, the story is about royalty and such but royals are human. The realness comes in the fact that everyday humans predetermine what is in the mind of another instead of confronting them straight up. We allow our hurt feelings to get in the way. We decide we know as fact when in fact we have no conclusive facts. We have circumstantial evidence. We assume. I know what it means to assume. So although this is fiction, it brings real issues.

Don’t worry we get our villains, although we’re still trying to figure out who they are. We are also reacquainted with our favorite characters from the past. If you haven’t read the other stories I suggest you do. You’ll laugh tear up, smile, swoon get the romance you’re looking for, the intrigue and mystery and of course you’ll get the heat. Some of the best part of this journey was the anticipation of the heat. It’s delicious.

I read this book in one sitting for two reasons it was easy reading and I couldn’t put it own. I’m really looking forward to the next installment. I’m hoping it’s not the last of this series. Once again this author nailed it.

Since we first met the gang of the Winston Isles, Ariel has always been very special and important character in all her facets as a royal guard, best friend, protector, boss, daughter, but we where missing an important part, her love. Her story is one of the most awaited one and Nana really does not disappoint us.

From the very first word you know that this is a book you will not be able to put down until the very end and then you will want to know more right away.

Ariel has a secret love in her past and even though there was/is a lot of love for this person, there is a lot of heartache and disappointment too. things are a bit easier when the person of interest is not close by, but when he is always in the news and you get to know his every move it could be truly painful. Ariel is a lot of fun but at the same time she is totally badass, but at what price. She thinks she has her life back on track or she is starting to, but when your kings request something from you, you obey, even if your heart is about to break and your life will flip upside down. Tristan decided to leave the Isles in pursuit of his career but now that he wants to come back he can't. After a life threatening event he will be face to face with the only girl he has ever loved and the one he abandon many years ago. Putting your life in the hands of the only person that truly has many reasons to kill you will not be easy for Tristan, but Ariel will prove that even though she can barely contain her anger and pain, she can protect the thing that she loves more than anything.

This is an amazing story filled with conspiracies, love, seduction, action, friends, unexpected twists and great surprises, awesome villains, and great friends. Can't wait to see what will happen with Tristan and Ariel as they continue their story.

It’s about damn time!!!!!!!

Ariel is finally here!!!!! From the moment Ariel was introduced as a character, I have been waiting (impatiently at times) for her story... Nana Malone gave of us one of the best books in the Royals series! Ariel has always been a badass boss of a woman. In Return of the Prince, we get to meet Ariel Scott, the woman with a marshmallow core. Return of the Prince continues from the foundation created by the previous Royal novels. This does not mean that it isn’t a standalone book, it just means it helps to have read the other books in the Royals Universe. Luckily, if this is your first time reading a Royals book, Nana Malone makes it easy for you to catch up. I do recommend reading the whole Royals Universe, because they are a great read!

Return of the Prince fully introduces the cousin of the King of Winston Isles, Prince Tristan. Prince Tristan is a sexy pro soccer player, who also happens to be engaged to a sexy model/ Hollywood actress, who is a total bitch. Oh and there is one other small, insignificant problem: there is also someone trying to kill the couple. It is Ariel and her team’s job to keep the prince (and his fiancée) alive... This is a difficult task since Ariel hates Prince Tristan.

It wouldn’t be a Nana Malone book if you weren’t taken on a wild suspense filled adventure of a story! Ariel, her team, and our favorite royals all get involved. However what will really get you is the ending!!!!! I hate coming to the end and enduring the pain of a cliffhanger... However, the ride leading up to the cliffhanger is sooooo worth it!!!! So just prepare yourself in advance to be tapping your foot waiting on book 2 of this duet to come out just like I am!

I just loved Return of the Prince. It was a page turner to see what would happen next. There was really good heat. I was fanning myself. Tristan and Ariel are a hot combination. In and out of the sheets.

Tristan is a professional soccer player and a prince, a prince who really wants to go back home but something happened between him and his brother to where he was forbidden to go back home. Tristan is at the point in his life to where he does not care what happened and is bound and determined to go back home no matter what. Nana Malone and her books get better and better. I absolutely loved this book. It had mystery, romance, twists, intrigue and really good heat. If you have not read any books by Nana Malone, I suggest you start.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this book 500 Stars I would. Nana Malone has done it again! When we left off in the last book we got a hint at what this next book would be about, but let me tell you, I was not ready for all this awesomeness!

I have LOVED Ariel from the very first books introducing us to the characters of the Winston Isles and I am so excited for her to be taking such an upfront role in these last few books. Her sassy, no nonsense personality won me over right from the start and I love seeing her lead her new team.

This book finally lets us see more of the emotional side of her as she deals with trying to protect the King's Cousin. The problem with being forced to be assigned to his detail is that there is a history between the two of them that none of the other characters knows about. When she if finally forced to come face to face with her past emotions run high and secrets are revealed.

This series is definitely a must read one for sure. I also, highly recommend starting at the very beginning so that you know everything that has gone on leading up to this book. These books all build on each other and the characters are all ones that you will fall in love with.

This book as well as all of the others have everything you could ever want in a story. There is love, heartbreak, drama, suspense, danger, chemistry, laughter and everything in between.

I can not wait to get my hands on the next book because I have to know how things play out and what is going to happen next. - By Alisa

If you've read any of Ms Malone's other books in the Winston Isles world, you know that Ariel has a secret romantic past with exiled Prince Tristan. We have almost no details, however. If you haven't read the other books, don't worry - this duet is mostly a standalone from the others. ("Mostly" because there are a lot of references to events that happened in past books but they are conversational between characters, not relevant to the current story.)

Prince Tristan is in Barcelona, Spain, playing professional soccer and secretly plotting a return to his home. Someone is trying to kill him, however. He and his actress fiancee Ella think it's her abusive former manager after her but when the attempts happen when they are not together, and then still at home on the island, it's evident he is the target. His cousin King Sebastian increases the Royal Guard protection on Tristan, including the Knights led by Ariel. Their unresolved past and feelings that have held on for ten years get in the way, but Ariel resolves to stay away from Tristan as much as possible since he is engaged.

Being book one in a duet, this is half the story. However, I was happy to find that this one doesn't end on quite the dramatic cliffhanger as the previous two Nana Malone duets I've read. I enjoyed meeting Prince Tristan, and loved getting to know Ariel better. She's been a big figure in the other books but we haven't gotten to know much about her personally before. I did like catching up with the other guards from past books, too. This is definitely an entertaining read.

This is finally Ariel’s story. It was more Tristan’s though. Tristan is the cousin or Sebastian and the brother of crazy Ashton. Though they were not part of the conspiracy, the whole family was sent away from Winston Isles with very little protection. In walks Royal Elite who have now been named King’s Knights (how cool is that?). There are a few problems with this situation. Tristan and Ariel met 10 years ago and are still very much in love despite the hiatus and Tristan has a fiancé, Ella.

There are some scary scenes. Tristan’s life is definitely in danger and there is a plot afoot that could be thrown of the rails if Royal Elite gets involved. This book is not as heart gripping and thrilling as some of the others have been in the series but I think that is what readers needed. How Nana anticipates readers needs is beyond me but she does it well. I have a feeling that the continuation of this series will be full of Ariel and Penny saving the day but we had to get the logistics out of the way.

This book is gives readers insight on Ariel and her interactions with the Team. You see how much everyone loves her and wants to protect her. This book makes you love Team Winston Isles even more because of the intense love they have for Ariel. I adored this book and as always did not want it to end.

I have loved Ariel since she was first introduced and am so glad she is getting her story. Ariel is the biggest badass girl in security. She is also Queen Penny's BFF. After starting her own successful security agency, King Sebastian 'knighted' her and her team to help protect Prince Tristan, who was part of the family exiled from the Winston Isles due to his brother who is now in prison. Tristan is in an arranged relationship with an actress as they made a pact to help each other. The thing Ariel didn't count on was having to protect Prince Tristan. They had a love affair 10 years prior and he left without notice on the night they were to escape the island together. She thinks he left her without notice (which he did not). He is upset because he left her a note, a ticket to meet him and then wrote letters for a year after leaving to join a professional soccer team (although Ariel never received any of this thanks to someone TBD). Finally, they figure things out and admit their love for each other. Tristan is having nightmares and the book leaves us hanging as Ariel tries to figure out why and also who is trying to kill him. I can't wait for the next book in this series to see how this story unfolds

You just knew that from the other stories that there was more to Ariel than what you could see from the few glimpses of her. Now. NOW, we get her story and it was so worth every single page turned. It was so worth every time we meet her in the past (books). I going to tell you right now that I want so badly to give this one a five star rating, but the only is that I cant go higher on the next and final installment. This was such a good read. It had me on the edge of my seat. Turning pages. I going to tell you when I started I was just going to do five chapters to get me read for the next day to jump right back in to things. It didn't work out that way. I was on full speed ahead. I turned page after page and then I was done. I so a ready for the next installment.

Thank you Nana Malone for giving Ariel her own story! I’ve been waiting for her story since the first Book in all the Royals! Ariel is a very strong woman and loyal to her friends and family. She’s had a rough couple of months after losing her position as a royal guard. Although, she’s not going to let anything slow her down while starting her own security business. The only thing she’s missing is her one true love.

Tristan is a prince that has been exiled because of his family, but he’s determined to set himself apart and show that he’s not like his family. The one woman he fell in love with, he left and she despises him. Although, he’s now engaged things are not at all as they seem.

This book will take you on a ride and unfortunately leave you with a cliffhanger, as Nana Malone is known for. If you haven’t read any of her books, I suggest you start with at least the first in the series. You won’t be disappointed!

In Return of The Prince by Nana Malone we finally get the whole Ariel story!!! Let me say I've been waiting on her book! Ariel remains the same spit-fired woman. But when she comes face to face with her past, can she let all the anger, and resentment she harbors go?

When Tristan left ten years ago, Ariel and Tristan were young and in love, but there was one person who didn't want Tristan to have happiness.

Return Of The Prince is full of twists, and turns, intrigue and emotion. I LOVED every moment!! I can't wait to see where Ariel and Tristan’s story goes in the future!!

*I voluntarily read an arc. This is my honest review.*

Fake engagement. Check. In love with another woman. Check. Threat of being killed. Check. What more could a prince want? And yet Prince Tristan wants it all.

This is the story we have all been waiting for. So far, it is full of secrets and intrigue. Yes, Tristan took care of Max. But what about all of the other secrets he's keeping. Will Ariel be able to figure out who wants to hurt the prince before they succeed?

Will Tristan and Ariel be able to overcome the darkness of their pasts? Will what happened a decade ago continue to haunt both of them? Or will this be a fresh start for them? We will have to wait until the next book to find out.

Tristian ......whew

I just continue to enjoy the Royals, Tristian and Ariel did not disappoint. OMG Tristian has been through hell ..he and Ariel have that in common, her life wasn’t always great with her father. Unfortunately, Tristian brother Ashton continues to torture people even from prison, at least we hope it’s him. This story is awesome, I JUST CANNOT WAIT for part 2.

Return of the Prince by Nana Malone is book One in The Prince Duet. This starts the story of Ariel and Tristan.
Ariel owns her own security business and we have read about her through some of the previous books by Ms. Malone. Tristan is a Prince that is returning home after being gone a long time. Ariel and Tristan haven't seen each other in years..now it is time for their story. It of course starts off rocky after the way Tristan left but the attraction between them along with their feelings makes it hard to stay apart. This book slowly goes into their story and the working on getting their relationship on track. This does end setting us up for the next book / installment in their story.

I have been patiently waiting for Ariel's story and once again I was not disappointed.

10 years later Tristan and Ariel are different people but the can't fight their attraction and hurt. As the Royal Elite work to protect the prince. Ariel needs to work out her feelings and figure out who is after Tristan.

This story has heart and humor. I love the Royal "family" and how they all relate to one another.

I cannot wait to read the next book in the duet.

I have a love/hate relationship with Nana Malone books. They are well written, have fun characters, and keep building on each other; but they are a bit predictable, can get confusing, and there’s always a cliffhanger! I hate cliffhangers! That said, I enjoyed this book more than most of Ms. Malone’s. The blurb didn’t give much away, which was fun and infuriating at the same time...

This books gives us a look (finally!) at the mysterious Ariel we’ve seen in so many of the previous books. She’s tasked with the safety of the banished Prince; and it turns out they have a past together. This is book one in what has to be a second chance love story.

I have enjoyed the tibits of Ariel in previous books, and was hoping she’d get a book soon so her character could be explained and explored. I’ve liked all the heroines by Ms. Malone, but I couldn’t wait to see what was in store for Ariel. Bossy, practical, with such a fantastic and unexpected back story. Prince Tristan is away from home, being a sort of famous for being famous type of Prince while actually being a soccer star. He’s been mentioned in previous books, but not enough to get a feel for his character. He has such a good personality and kind soul and generous heart! Despite that, he’s set himself on a winding path to what he thinks is redemption. These two have amazing hurdles to work through, and it’s been fun to read their journey

The setup for these two to be romantically involved was a bit convoluted, but once laid out, made total sense for these two to have been friends and then more when younger. And then life kept them apart...but when it shoves them together, no force on Earth can keep them apart. Despite the years, the heartache, the circumstances, they are pulled together. Their poor tortured slow burn start keeps the readers interested.

Return of the Prince was a much faster read than many of Ms. Malone’s books. It was full of fantastic imagery and well written dialogue. I got sucked into this book surprisingly quickly, and was sad when it ended so quickly. What trouble will Ariel get into with her royal bestie?

This and the Heiress Duet are my favorites by Ms. Malone. If only they weren’t cliffhangers! I hate having to wait for the ending. Waiting for subsequent books in a series is hard enough, but waiting for the end of the mystery and the happily ever after is not my strong suit.

Favorite Quotes:
“There was no hiding from the intimacy between us, no running from it. No concealing the vulnerability.”
“I loved you from that moment I walked in and you tried to explain the benefit of action movies to me, a guy.”
“You might be a prince, but you are no gentleman.”
“...Something long dead that I’d buried, flared into life, like a single green leaf in a barren desert, pulling low on my belly, growing roots and taking hold. It smelled, looked and tasted like hope.”

Star Ratings:
Plot = 4/5 Characters = 5/5 Heat = 5/5 Writing Style = 4/5 Overall Rating = 4/5

Total 4.5 star read!! Wow!! Nana Malone has finally started to give us Ariel and Tristan's story, and what a story it is!! I need more ASAP!! Return of the Prince is a wonderful read filled with twists and turns, suspense, laughter, witty dialogue, and extremely memorable and lovable characters. Everything is definitely not what it seems in this one, and I enjoyed every single second of this first installment of Ariel and Tristan's story. And yes, I loved the fact that the other characters that I have come to love so much are interspersed throughout this one too.

Ariel, as you know, if you have been reading about the Royals since the beginning, is Queen Penny's best friend, and after leaving the Royal Guard has set up her own security business, Royal Elite. Ariel is a brilliant and gorgeous woman, who also is extremely independent, but who also longs for the one person that she was never supposed to have...Prince Tristan, the international soccer star and the cousin of King Sebastian. The two young lovers had a fleeting summer romance when they were teenagers and planned for more. However, these young star-crossed lovers never had the chance to really enjoy their love affair or see where it would lead thanks to outside forces unbeknownst to them, and because of that each one of them holds a serious grudge against the other. Yet, forces trying to either kill the Prince or his fiancee, have thrown these two back into each other orbit, and oh boy, do the fireworks explode. You can feel the chemistry between these two jumping off the pages, although they try to deny it.

In Return of the Prince, Nana Malone's wonderful storytelling skills takes us on a roller coaster of a journey like no other. I did not want to get off this ride, and especially not after being hit with that cliffhanger of an ending in this one. Let me just say that after reading this one, I am more than ready for To Love A Prince!!
