Nana Malone

Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves of all things romance and adventure.

That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

I swear with every new book I read by Nana Malone I fall more in love with her writing.

To Love a Prince is her newest story and the conclusion to the prince duet featuring Ariel and Tristan. But of course it had all the other amazing characters I've come to love as well.

There was so many unexpected twists and turns in this story. And then there were some things that I suspected but still felt an impact when they were confirmed. Either way this is not a book that you put down easily. Every time I thought things might slow down to make it easier to take a break, things just kept ramping up or progressing in such a way that I just had to keep reading to see what would come next.

Once again I am left feeling that this story is one that will stick with me for a while. Ariel and Tristan were so intense. Most of these characters have been, but each in their own unique way. But I think that's one of my favorite things about Nana Malone books. They are so intense and they practically enthrall you. It's so hard to put them down and you think about them in between reading. Plus she keeps managing to leave things in just the perfect way that I know I am going to be on the lookout for the next book. I will be anxious to get my next fix of her special brand of writing.

Well this book is everything I hoped it would be. This is the continuing story of Ariel and Tristian and finding out who, what, where, when, how and the why. Yes, we find it all out. Unfortunately(or fortunately) for you I’m not going to tell you any of the answers to the above questions. You need to read these stories for yourself. It will well be worth it.
I’m not even going to tell you if my theories were right. Actually I wasn’t a bad sleuth! There’s a lot going on in this book.
What I will tell you is that the author has a way of drawing us in, keeping us riveted and loving every moment of it. She makes you think. Don’t worry you’re mind isn’t tapped out where you won’t enjoy the story because she knows how to balance the intrigue with the laughs, smiles, tender moments and upping the heat level and I don’t mean because you’re in the Winston Isles. Every part of you will be stirred.
Another aspect of the authors books I love is, she keeps her characters alive. You get to see your favorite people from former stories greatly involved in the storyline. If you haven’t read the other books you will want to. If you have read them a smile will immediately appear on your face. This story is a duet so you don’t have to read all the other books before this one. You will want to though.
Although we are dealing in royalty issues what we learn is that even royals have everyday problems and insecurities. Too, that as much as we may wish we were them it would seem that they wish they were more like us. Seriously, do you what to live your life in a fish bowl?
We also learn we are not responsible for the sins of our families. However, how many of us live in embarrassment and feel like we are less because of the sins of others, so to speak?
So I guess you can tell I really like this story. My only criticism (and it’s really not) I wish it was longer. I love these characters. I didn’t want to leave them. I read it in one sitting. I was on an need to know basis and I needed to know immediately! I can’t wait for the next installment and see where we are going next. Kudos to the author.

I still can't believe I only recently read my first books by this author. I have some serious back-reading to do. This author is very talented with romantic suspense, adding in a few twists and turns to keep us on our toes. In this book, I won't lie, I did predict the end. That's just me, though. Once I know there is a suspense plot, I am reading between the lines until I can figure it out. Still, I wasn't 100% sure until later on in the book. To say I can't wait to read more about Royal Elite is an understatement.

That said.........
This is not a standalone. To Love a Prince is the completion of The Prince Duet. I absolutely loved the intrigue and mystery weaved into Ariel and Tristan's story. These two have massive chemistry. In the first book, Ariel and Tristan are reunited. However, it is not a joyous reunion. There was conspiracy that tore them apart. Ten years! It took ten years for these two to have the deserved happily-ever-after they deserved. Hopefully, you read the first book and already know that Ariel and Tristan are together. But things are not entirely what they seem. There are still dangers and manipulation trying to ruin their happy-ever-after.

So, this is where I have to tell you that you're going to have to wait to read this on your own if you're looking for more details from me. Truthfully, there isn't much more I can say without possibly spoiling this book for you. I can tell you, there is more suspense, intrigue, & danger to keep you on your toes. Right up to the very end!

If you haven't ever read any of this author's books, I want to tell you her writing talent is amazing. The writing flow is steady and her books are easy to devour in no time at all. I definitely recommend Nana Malone for you future reading enjoyment.

This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. A perfect conclusion of an even better story I didn't quite expect the twists and turns it entailed along the way. I had my suspissions on what or who is responsible for some mayor events, but otherwise I also didn't... It's such a pleasure reading through Ariel's and Tristan's way back to each other, it's almost scary.

I think Miss Malone is really getting into this series, and the characters and story are coming alive with a detail and reality that are making each one a stronger book than the previous. While I wasn’t a huge fan of the earlier books, I feel like they are definitely a part of a larger book-world and being able to see the growth of the characters is making the series stronger.

Book One in this duet gave us the hint of a happily ever for Tristan and Ariel, but we knew there would be more hiccups to the plan, including a crazy road trip planned by Penny and Ariel. So we’re not only working a happily ever after for one couple in the book, but the crazy conspiracy theories abound and keep us on our toes!

We know and love Tristan and Ariel already. But this book gave us way a much more intricate backstory to both characters that had the readers really connecting with these two. They were forced to divulge a lot of information to friends and family, and make tough choices. Through it all, we got to read chapters by not only the main characters of this book, but by beloved past characters like the King and Queen. All of which led to a better understanding of not only Ariel and Tristan, but many in their close circle.

These two have had waves of pheromones and chemistry coming off them in waves for multiple books. So it was no surprise to see some salacious sexy times. But the depth of the relationship was explored and we got to see a romantic and thought out side of both of them; along with a lot of jealousy and love!

I opened this book a bit leery, not sure if I’d get sucked in or not; but I was quickly taken back to the Winston Isles and immersed into the conspiracies and romance of the island. Cringing when the reader could connect some dots the characters couldn’t, and gasping when I was as surprised as they at a new turn of events. I loved seeing the past main characters, with chapters in their voice. It brings the back into itself, making the overall story arc much stronger.

I am so into these books now! Starting out I kept plodding through as I was caught up, but struggling with the first few feeling mechanical and eerily similar. These last few have been great at keeping the reader involved, entranced, and intrigued! I’m sure Ashton has more crazy in store for us as we get to know more of the Royal Elite and see the rest of the Royal family fall in love.

Favorite Quotes:
“The woman I loved was not the woman I remembered. So I either needed to embrace this new woman and let the other woman go, or maybe lose her forever.”
“In order to be able to hold her again, she’d have to know the truth. And that meant risking her walking away from me forever.”
“Penny was beautiful. Always had been. But there was something about the steel in her eyes that terrified me down to the soul. She wasn’t messing around. With her on my side, Ashton would know real fear.”

Star Ratings:
Plot = 4/5 Characters = 5/5 Heat = 5/5 Writing Style = 4/5 Overall Rating = 4/5

👑👑👑 All is not as it seems. 👑👑👑

Nana Malone seriously outdid herself with this second book of Prince Tristan and Lady Ariel, and, I have to admit, my favourite scene isn’t even hot or romantic. Just some plain old fashioned fisticuffs when the lights go out in Stanstit Prison! Trouble is, it seems Queen Penny and Ariel have taken their Former Royal Guard duties a little too seriously, and Sebastian is more than a little pissed – meaning that Ariel just might find herself out in the cold. I worried that his anger would close his mind to the true threat to Tristan that Ariel was trying to investigate, and not heed her warnings.

As always, the duets all stand-a-lone in their stories about each couple, but throughout, Ms Malone has strung her readers along with little snippets of suspense. They’ve kept me intrigued and suspicious. The plot heat was ramped up to epic in this Princely duet, and I was trying to decide whether to speed up the reading to find out what the hell was going on, or slow it down because I wanted the book to last! All of the plot threads going through the books in this royal series were being pulled together, even as the perpetrators’ deadly plans were unravelling. The answer to every one of my questions have been a long time coming.

I was absolutely invested in this group of characters, and am almost sad that their stories have been told. Needless to say, Nana Malone didn’t leave me disappointed though! She left a plot bunny at the end, guaranteeing that I have another set of books to look forward to. 5 Stars and a recommendation to those who love steamy and suspenseful romantic comedies to read Ms Malone’s books. You won’t be disappointed.

And second book of Nana Malone’s ‘The Prince’ duet ‘To Love a Prince’ is finally here. WOW!!! What a journey Nana Malone made us take. I love Winston Isles books and with each and every one book, I fell more in love with Nana Malone’s writing and the series.

Prince Tristan and Lady Ariel finally get their second chance after 10 years of separation thanks to evil Prince Ashton. I have good news and bad news for you guys. If you read the first book of the series, you probably have tons of questions. Good news is with this book you will get all the answers and bad news is I won’t be revealing any of those answers for you. Sorry! …. Not sorry :)

As you know from the first book someone is trying to kill Prince Tristan. Our gang has a suspect, Prince Ashton. No surprises there; however, they don’t have enough evidence to link all attempts to Ashton yet. There is also Lord Gilroy, who thinks Tristan is responsible for his daughter Amelia’s disappearance. Even though, whole gang is trying to help Tristan and figure out who is behind the murder attempts, Tristan still holds too much to himself. I can totally understand his reasoning but it annoyed me to hell that it took him that long to trust the people, who were doing everything to protect and help him. There are still too many twists and turns in the story that keeps you hooked from the beginning to end. Thanks to crazy Winston Isles women and the pressure of finding the person behind the assassination attempts, we will see a very pissed King. Also, when all the secrets that Tristan is keeping and Amelia’s disappearance come out, everything gets a new spin.

‘To Love a Prince’ is sexy, heartbreaking, and full of suspense and mystery. Also, thanks to Nana Malone and her infamous epilogues you will be wishing, you could start reading the next right away. So next book is Zia’s and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.

P.S. I am sooo looking forward to read Trace and Tamsin’s books as well. Also, since we get a chance to see a bit of Roone’s cousin Ben in the epilogue, I am hoping we will be getting his, East and Bridge’s stories as well.

Would I recommend this book: Yes.
Would I re-read this book: Already did.
Would I read future books by this author: Yes.

OMG where do I begin with this review.... It was amazing I mean there was so much going on and I could not put the book down because every time I thought the story was slowing down and we were going to get our answers the story would kick up and things would start to happen that had me on the edge of my seat.

Tristan is out of exile and has it all. He has Ariel and he has his crown but there are things that are going on that puts everyone in danger. Tristan has a killer on his trail and he has no idea who it is and why they want to kill him. Plus the kingdom wants him away from the crown because he is tarnished and so they are trying to take his crown from him. Plus he is keeping secrets from Ariel that just might destroy them as a couple.

What is going to happen to Ariel and Tristan? Will Tristan keep his crown? Will the killer come for him?

I absolutely adore these books omg

ARC received in exchange for an honest review

Nana delivered an absolutely cracking conclusion to Tristan and Ariel’s story.

From the very beginning we all knew that their story wasn’t going to be easy especially after their first book and this one is no different. Things aren’t easy for them.

In this book we get to know more of Tristan and what it was like growing up with the kind of man his brother is. It’s had and sad and this book shows just how much of an impact that had on him.

As always Nana gives us some twists we don’t expect and damn, I love it all so much!

I absolutely adore Nana Malone and her books and every time we get a new release I’m always excited. Her royals are addictive and I can never get enough.

To Love a Prince was amazing, such a great read.

To Love a Prince brings to end the love saga of Tristan and Ariel, this was Nana second chance at love story and I loved it! I liked that in the end of the first book it really didn't end in a cliff hanger but more in a "to be continued" kind of vibe. I was rooting for these two to have their happy ever after.

This book really pulls in all of the conspiracy theories of who is trying to kill Prince Tristan, you believe it's one person in book one, then you believe it's another person in the beginning of book two, and then the ending happens and you are left with wow...ok...didn't see it coming but I thought about it.

I love the Winston Isle crew...each book help bring these characters to life. I also like that Nana showed that even when you're married to a King life is not all rainbows and sunshine. I will never get bored of reading these books and seeing what other adventures will take place in the Winston Isle.

5+-Stars ~ Reviewed by Emma-Louise on behalf of KindleFriendsForever

I couldn’t wait for this little beauty to hit my Kindle. Ariel has fascinated me since I entered into the world of the Winston Isles. There was always something enigmatic about her. The quirkiness and her superhero abilities with a computer, I was always enthralled with her. The relationship she has with Penny has always warmed my heart. Ariel has the keen ability to see the truth even if it’s hidden under multiple camouflaged layers. She possesses a rare type of instinct; one that sees through people. She has this uncanny ability of being able to cut through all the nonsense and get to the crux of any issue. As I had previously said: Ariel and Penny are Thelma and Louise (before they drive off the cliff.)

Tristan comes with his fair share of secrets. Secrets he believes will ruin him forever, especially when it comes to his blossoming relationship with Ariel.

‘She was mine. After ten years, Ariel was mine again. Now all you need to do is hold on to her. Good luck with that.’

With ten years of growing up between them, their dance in this duet is careful and often cumbersome. Fears, ingrain insecurities and knee jerk reactions lead to several very combustible situations.

Mystery still surrounds the who, where, why and what of whom is behind all the attempts on Tristan’s life. The mystery has spanned the duet and not for one moment has this been drawn out or ever felt pointless. In a Nana Malone book, every situation happens for a reason and there is no useless padding.

Spending time with Sebastian and Penny is always a joy. After reading Cheeky Prince and Cheeky Royal they have become my favourite characters...well up until I got this book, that is. Ariel and Tristan have real chemistry, there are sparks and explosions all the way through this book. Nothing is concrete until it is.

The end has left me wondering one thing...who is the man with the grey eyes. Thank you, Ms Malone, for once again giving me a respite from real life.

To Love a Prince by Nana Malone is book Two in The Prince Duet. This continues the story of Ariel and Tristan so you should read the first book 'Return of the Prince' before reading this one to fully enjoy their story. This book starts where we left off in the last book and continues to build on their relationship. We also are getting the pieces of the puzzles put together. This series and this author knows how to keep you on your toes with what is going on and what you think is going on.
I enjoyed their story and will be looking for more from this author in the future.

Nana Malone is a literary genius. "To Love A Prince" was fan-freaking-tastic!!! What can I say I love, love, love all of Nana's "Royals" series. All the characters are so likable and have a way of pulling you in and invested with little effort. This book picks up right where "Return Of The Prince (The Prince Duet #1)" left off so I suggest if you haven't read that one first, you read that one first before diving into this one just so you don't miss out on all the drama and the introduction of some new characters. With that said, If you've already read part #1 and are dying to know the 411 and the who done-it, then this book delivers all of that and more. The drama with Tristan, Ariel, and the rest of the royals and friends continues full force in this one almost immediately. Chock full of nail biting action, kick-ass females, the hot alphas that love them, and a ton of "oh shit" moments. This story will have you laughing and cursing. In other words, a guaranteed win/win. Don't want to ruin it but I recommend you read this one, the surprises will leave you speechless and shocked. I promise.

To Love a Prince is the thrilling conclusion to Ariel and Prince Tristan's relationship story, and it picks up where the first book, Return of the Prince left off. Unlike some of the other books surrounding the royal family of the Winston Isles, King Sebastian, Tristan's cousin, and Queen Penny, Ariel's best friend, play prominent roles because of all the intrigue surrounding Tristan's return to the Winston Isles, and ultimately trying to find out who is trying to kill him. Is it part of the original conspiracy to take the Crown, or something more personal? In spite of the seriousness of the situation, the lively banter and arguments among the central cast is highly entertaining and adds to the flow of the story. Enjoyable conclusion to this part of the story, but we are given a sneak preview of what's to come in the Epilogue!

Sigh, Tristan and Ariel....

There is so much to love in the conclusion of this duet. Shenanigans, intrigue, hot sex and a second chance at love. Readers are treated to Ariel and Penny working undercover and subsequently getting in trouble together, "That's your Majesty home skillet to you."~ Penny.

Royal Elite is still trying to eliminate the threat against Tristan. Sebastian is working the Council to continue to weed out those against him. Ella is trying to find her place in the world now that Tristan has Ariel again. Oh, and we get some more royal news, shhhh.

I cannot wait to see what is next up for Team Winston Isles. I love TWI and all of the stories.

When we last left these two crazy kids, they had finally gotten together and Ariel was on her way to figuring out who was trying to kill the Prince. My suspicions were right and wrong all at the same time.

For those of us who have been fans since the beginning, the King and Queen play a prominent part in this book. We get a look at how they have been adjusting into their roles of husband/wife and King/Queen, while still maintaining their individual Penny and Sebastian identities..

The way this story unfolds and the elaborate strategy in which the story line connects with the entire series, yet holds up on it’s own is amazing. Nana Malone writes an intricate, yet really fun book that makes you laugh and cry and everything in between.

The conclusion to Prince Sebastian and Lady Ariel’s story is worth the wait.

I absolutely loved this duet and in To Love a Prince, Nana weaves her master story telling with romance and intrigue with many surprise twists and turns. All your answers are in this book, but of course I am not going to tell you. You will just have to read the book. Tristan and Ariel are awesome characters as well as all the people in the Winston Isles. I especially enjoyed this book because we get to see a lot of Sebastian and Penny and their romance and interaction in finally getting to the truth of who was trying to kill Tristan and to that point, just when you think you have it all figured out, right at the end there is a major twist and a mean major twist. And to be honest, I didn't see that coming. This book was terrific but I just wish it was longer but I am sure we will get to see Tristan, Ariel, Sebastian and Penny again as Nana continues to write about people in the Winston Isles. Again, I loved, loved this book!!!

Like clockwork I can count on this author to bring me stories of intrigue and suspense and hot and heavy on the romance, every book such consistency she could teach a class in the art of writing exactly the type of book I'm looking for EVERY TIME! We've seen Ariel in several of Ms. Malone's stories as a member of the Royal Guard and its about d^mn time she got her HEA! Yummy Prince Tristan was so worth the wait.(not that Ariel had been patiently waiting, pining away or anything, she'd certainly had her hands full protecting everyone but still). So many twists and turns on this roller coaster ride but I loved every single word and I absolutely can't wait for my next visit to Winston Isles

What a fantastic conclusion to Tristan and Ariel’s story. I loved this second chance at love. There’s also suspense, who can Tristan trust? Who is out to kill him? Loved getting multiple points of view too, and being updated on prior characters. I’ve loved each book in this series. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I highly recommend this book.

Nana Malone has perfected the art of the cliffhanger. By the end of Return of the Prince, I thought I had it all figured out, but it turns out Malone had an ace up her sleeve. To Love a Prince proved to be an unpredictable delight. Tristan and Ariel are a match fighting their way through hell to get to heaven. It's an uphill battle, but my heart was up for the challenge.

How Nana Malone delivers a perfectly packed thriller romance every time is beyond my comprehension. Seriously I am amazed by her effortless and flawless storytelling. To Love A Prince is an unputdownable story for sure.

To Love A Prince is so much more than a royal romance. It has dangerous conspiracies. It has passionate, intimate and soulful second chance romance. The story is full of tricks, twists and turns. Ariel and Tristan has reunited but the happily ever after is still a long way to go. They are fighting the opposing forces who are after their love and life.

Ariel has shown more of her badass moves in this story. It's no secret that I am a big fan of sassy, kickass, smart woman like Ariel. But even a rough and tough Knight like her needs caring and protection. And Tristan is exactly suitable for that role. He is so damn sexy with a golden heart who is ready to face whole world alone. And a big cruel heartbreaking secret made him like this. My heart was aching for this incredible man. They complement each other so well.

Nana Malone writes the adventurous and sexy parts equally well. She kept the tension throughout the book to keep me engaged and enthralled. I laughed, I cried, I cursed, I chewed my nails off. To Love A Prince was really the complete package with a shiny little bow!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports..

To Love a Prince is the second book in The Prince Duet. You must read Return of the Prince or you r going to be lost.

The good new is, I'm out of exile and I have the woman I love by my side And I still have my crown, tarnished though it may be. The bad news is...All of that is temporary. There are those that want me as far away from the crown as possible. I still have akiller on my tail who has a more permanent solution in mind. Oh and there is the small matter of all the secrets I am keeping from Ariel. For her I rished it all, but will she wind up paying the price? Once she knows my secrets. What will she do to protect me and the crown? What will I be wiling to do to protect her? The answer is: everything.

As we all have been we have been waiting for answers and To Love A Prince has them all. I do not want to give any of these answers away. You just have to read and find out. I promise though this book has everything in it that you have been waiting for. Your going to fall even more in love with Ariel and Tristen. OMG!!!! Nana Malone has done it again! I am so in love with everything that she writes and this book did not disappoint!

To Love a Prince is the second book in The Prince Duet and you MUST read book 1 first in order to fully get this story. Book 2 picks up right where book 1 leaves off and I have been dying to get my hands on the rest of the story. Really, I highly recommend starting all the way from the beginning with Cheeky Royal because all of these stories build upon the others and all of the characters that you meet along the way continue to pop up and knowing their back stories makes everything even more entertaining.

In this book Arial and Tristan are finally getting the chance to have questions answered after being apart for 10 years. However, secrets are still keeping them from fully being together and Arial is determined to get to the bottom of who is trying to kill Prince Tristan.

From start to finish this book had me on the edge of my seat. Making guesses as to who I thought was involved and then finding out I was wrong kept my from putting my kindle down until I finally had answers. I absolutely love how this book goes between several characters points of view so that I really get an inside look into everything that is happening throughout the story.

I can not wait to find out what Nana Malone has in store for us next! By Alisa

Thelma and Louise

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and I am voluntarily giving a review. This book is the culmination of Prince Tristan and Lady Ariel’s story. This book had everything you look for in a Nana Malone novel. Team Winston Isles is alive, thriving and growing. I absolutely adore all the quirky characters and how they come together to have each other’s back. This book starts where the first book left off. You get all the action and intrigue in this book that was missing in the first book. Lady Ariel and Prince Tristan are trying to get to know each other again while tackling the electrifying connection that keeps them together. The connection is explosive and very steamy. As usual, Malone has a way of making you root for the relationship despite all the obstacles in the way.

You get an update of Team Winston Isles as they get in trouble and handle things with a cohesiveness that is rarely seen in a group this large. They love each other and it shows. This series has definitely solidified me as a super fan of Nana Malone. Her books keep you interested and her stories run you through a gamut of emotions.
