June 12 #HALTsolitary Albany Day of Action
Thousands of New Yorkers are  right now suffering in solitary confinement, for months, years, and decades. More than a majority of NY Senators  and Assembly Members publicly support the HALT Solitary Confinement Act, S1623/A2500 and there are more than enough votes to pass the bill. But HALT is still not being brought to a vote. As of June 12, there will be one more week in the legislative session. We will be taking action in Albany that day to urge the Senate and Assembly to pass HALT before session ends! We need you to make this happen! Please join us!
