About Us: The Discovery Canyon Campus (DCC) Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a support system of parents and teachers dedicated to enriching and enhancing every student’s involvement throughout their PK – 12th grade experience.
Every DCC staff member, parent, or legal guardian is eligible for membership in the DCC PTO and is acknowledged as a voting member of the organization upon filling out the registration form and attend at least one (1) General Meeting. Each member has an active voice in how the PTO does business. PTO provides opportunities to volunteer at dances, teacher appreciation events, fundraisers, and many other fun events. It also provides opportunities for members to advise how funds are spent to improve the school and our students/teachers experience.
We hope that our partnership will create a pool of knowledge, talents, and skills, to get the most out of our students’ potential. Your involvement really does make a difference in your student’s education! Involvement means whatever you can do. An hour a year makes a difference. Sending in treats makes a difference. Sharing an idea can change a life. It’s whatever you make of it and it does count. Signing up to receive volunteer notices is never a commitment, it just gives you an opportunity to help if you can. The choice is always yours.
