Notice of Change in Exam Glove Prices
Virginia Industries for the Blind will be increasing prices on exam and medical gloves effective January 21, 2021 due to the cost increases from our sources. The Covid-19 pandemic has strained factory production costs including labor, supplies, and increased cleaning protocols which necessitate this price increase. We apologize for these increases, but will continue striving to provide our customers with the best product at the lowest price to meet their needs.
Each type of glove will increase by a different amount based on market conditions, but increase of 2x to 3x will be typical. We provide this alert so that you can adjust your budgets as practicable. As soon as the market settles down and prices return to lower levels, VIB will pass along those reduced prices to you as well.
