Three Dates

Rate this book
Muriella
I’ve never been on a date.
And I intended to keep it that way.
But to save my best friends’ relationship, I agreed to three with the man I secretly long for.
He doesn’t know why we can’t be. That chancing a relationship would bring everything crashing down around us.
Whatever he makes me feel is irrelevant. Wherever he thinks this may lead, he’s wrong.
Three dates.
That’s all I have to survive before I can put him back where he belongs…
At arm’s length.

Stone
Six years.
That’s how long I’ve waited for her.
Now I’ve got three shots to convince her what I’ve known all along…
We belong together.
Despite all of my determination, each new revelation seems to pull us apart.
With everything stacked against us, we may not even make it to date three, let alone forever.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2! Three Dates (stand-alone). Movie star has three dates to claim her heart!

“You deserve a whole person.” Her voice was a plea for me to understand. She didn’t get that I saw her, who she really was. “I’m looking at one.”

Books in Paths To Love series are stand-alones:
Book 1: It’s Not Over
Book 2: Three Dates
Book 2.5: Righting Our Wrongs
Book 3: Heartbreaker
Book 4: Dangerous Redemption
Book 5: Thick As Thieves

For six years they have fought their attraction. Each with their own demons. Now they got three dates. He will do everything to win her and she will fight him every step of the way. But before their dates are over their past will come to haunt them putting everything on the line, forcing them to fight for their future.

Seven words to describe Stone Jacobs: Patient, charming, down-to-earth, noble, private, easy-going and patient.

Seven words to describe Muriella Morales, M: Timid, brave, stubborn, smart, loyal, self-doubting and resilient.

Three Dates, told from dual POV, offers a sweet, sexy, slow-brewing, impossible, yet inevitable love. I rooted for Stone and Muriella every. step. of. the. way.

5 I want it all Stars

I may have escaped hell, but I was still a prisoner. Everything had been under control before Stone started to push. What would happen if I let him in?-Muriella

I am just loving this series! Three Dates by Grahame Claire, is the 2nd book in the Paths to love series, and it was one hell of a read. When I read It's not over, the 1st book in the series, I fell in love with Stone and Muriella. I couldn't wait to read their book. I was a little worried that Stone and Muriella's book wouldn't live up to book 1. I was wrong! It surpassed it and became my favorite read of the series so far! Which truly shocked me as I love me some Daniel and Viv! This read was just so emotionally charged and raw! I could feel their pain, their fear, and their love. It gave me all the feels, and when I finished it I had a huge smile on my face.

“I’m not doing this.” “Don’t hide from me.” “Isn’t it enough I told you how you make me feel?!” I shouted. “I’m trying. What more do you want from me?” “I want it all.”-Muriella and Stone

Stone was amazing. He was so sexy with all his southern charm, manners, and his deep respect for women. He was understanding, supportive, and completely devoted to Muriella. He knew Muriella's past was ugly and dark so he let her lead the way. He gave her control and respected her boundaries. I loved how Stone knew Muriella was his from the moment they met and while he waited 6 years for her, he didn't see other women. There was no one for him but Muriella and he was loyal. He fought for Muriella, fought her past demons, and helped her heal. My heart broke for Muriella and all she suffered. At the same time I was in awe of her bravery. Muriella's back story was dark, brutal, and left her deeply scarred. Her fears were completely understandable. That kind of past would have broke anyone. Muriella started the book closed off, damaged, and living a shell of a life, and she ended it free, happy and healing. Muriella fought through the pain, flashbacks, and fear to get the life she truly wanted. Muriella grew so much in this book. She completely transform.

“And it’s not right for you to hide from me, either. We’re together now, except you aren’t all the way with me.” “I am!” she shouted. “But I won’t let my past touch you.” “It already has.” I softened my tone, desperate to make her understand. “I told you I want it all. Good. Bad. Ugly.” -Stone and Muriella

Muriella and Stones relationship was a slow burn. Muriella had a lot of demons to overcome, and that took time. I love that the authors kept it real. Pain isn't healed over night with some awesome sex. Muriella's struggles felt so real. Stone's too. He had to navigate carefully to get the woman he loved. When they got together it was beautiful and worth the wait. They fought so hard to be together and their connection was strong. Not only was Muriella and Stone great I fell hard for some of the secondary characters too. Stone's sister Mulaney and Easton the guy they grew up with . I don't know if they will end up a couple, but there was a spark there that had me hoping! Then there was Muriella's brother Carlos. OMG for a character that didn't have a ton of page time he made a huge impact. I want more Carlos so bad. He just sounded so sexy, intriguing, and a bit dark, but with a core of honor. I hope Carlos gets his own book. This read had so much meat to it. Tons of build up, and depth. And that ending omg so sweet. Three Dates was a great read. I can't wait to see what happens next in the Paths to Love Series.

“I’m in awe of you. The woman you are. The heart that’s bigger than anyone else’s I know. You had me from the first second I saw you, and every single day, I only want more. There isn’t a thing in the world that will ever change that.” -Stone

It was just Stone Jacobs. A man I’d known six years. A man I’d found to be kind, charming, easy-going, and well, pretty much perfect. Three dates with a friend. No problem, right?

If you love a good slow-burn romance, a friends to lovers storyline, and a somewhat suspenseful story, Three Dates will be the perfect book for you. This book pulled me in from the very beginning. I was so invested in Muriella and Stone’s story.

Muriella has been through so much in her life. Because of this, she’s sworn off men for good. But Stone Jacobs is not your average man. Stone and Muriella have been friends for years. In those years of friendship, Stone has only wanted Muriella. He’s gotten her to agree to three dates. Three dates to prove to her that she can trust him, that they belong together, and that’s he’s worth the risk.

Stone is a gentleman. He’s a family man, respectful, and shows Muriella what it could be like to be loved and cherished by a man who cares for her. Muriella has a lot of demons from her past. She doesn’t feel whole, and until she does, she doesn’t feel like she can ever let anyone in. Stone is determined to do anything he has to to change her mind. He sees Muriella, truly sees her and knows she isn’t broken. She’s perfect just the way she is.
“You deserve a whole person.” Her voice was a plea for me to understand. She didn’t get that I saw her, who she really was. “I’m looking at one.”

Stone and Muriella are amazing characters. I honestly couldn't tell you which one I loved more. Stone is a great man. Patient, understanding, and unwavering in his love. He had a heart of gold and was so damn swoony. I loved Muriella’s strength. She was sweet, gentle, and yet so very strong. She’s overcome so much from her past and the fact that she could learn to love and trust Stone just proves how strong she really is. These two have so much of a connection and chemistry, but their friendship is really the backbone of their relationship and the trust that Muriella had in Stone because of this friendship is the reason their love was able to grow and thrive.

Three Dates is such a fantastic read. The writing was strong, the characters well developed, and I loved everything about it. Stone and Muriella are unforgettable and their story will stay with me. The ending had me crying happy tears and I can’t recommend this book enough to all lovers of romance!

Three Dates picks up around where the previous book ended, with some overlapping in the time line. This is Muriella and Stone's story, and boy was I excited to get more of them. I could tell there chemistry between them but in their own story it really shined and had me captivated. Muriella was the star of this book though, and I adored her.

After going through so many hard times in life, Muriella had pretty much resigned herself to being alone forever. And she was fine with that since she had her friends with her. But after six years, Stone is done with just friendship between them and he's made her promise to give him three dates to change her mind. Stone may be a gentleman, but this cowboy is done letting Muriella hide behind her past and he's determined to make her see that they belong together.

I couldn't get enough of these characters together and they honestly went above and beyond what I was expecting from them. Muriella showed her true strength in this story and seeing how confident she became was the highlight of the book. It was amazing to watch her grow into this strong, beautiful woman under the watchful eye of Stone. He was a true hero, who I loved, but mostly because he would give Muriella little nudges in the right direction but for the most part he just sat back and let her find her own way. I loved that about him and he had me swooning many times throughout this book.

Overall, Three Dates is passionate, intriguing, and unforgettable. I've already read this book twice and it's not enough, so I know I'll be re-reading many times in the future. And I definitely recommend it for any romance reader out there.

4 ”Only You” Stars!
(ARC provided by author)

Muriella Morales lives in New York City, and has created the life she wants including her own family with friends Daniel & Vivian. They have become her entire world. They were the only two people she let into her life until a gorgeous, movie star from Texas named Stone Jacobs joined their circle of friends. Muriella had kept Stone at a comfortable distance for the past six years. She liked her life and didn't like change. She was all about being in control, and he made her feel like she had none when he was near. He made her feel off balance and forced her to step out of her comfort zone when he finally found a way to get her to go out with him. She didn't date, and thought falling in love wasn't part of her destiny, but she couldn't deny there was a part of her that wanted him. He was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen, and stirred an unfamiliar part of herself. As much as she said they were just friends, he was becoming more than that in her heart. When he was around she felt like she was in uncharted territory without a map.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Stone Jacobs was a famous celebrity actor who could have any woman in the world, except the one he truly wanted. He wanted a life with Muriella, and was prepared to pursue her. It was time to step out of the friend zone and go after what he wanted. He'd belonged to her since the day they met, and this was his chance to convince her they were meant to be. He'd found something she couldn't pass up, and negotiated three dates with her.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

-Stone made me nervous because I felt him to my core. It was as if I’d known him my entire life.

-My feelings for her were solid. I’d always been sure of them.

-She was the woman I’d hoped to find all my life.

-“When I’m with you, when I think about you, life makes sense.”

-“Whether you want me or not, I’m yours. I always will be.”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

With each date Stone was slowly breaking down her walls, and helping her let go. He stripped her defenses layer by layer and made her feel safe and cherished. In his arms everything felt right, but her fears and doubts still crept up between them. She didn't know how to obliterate them, but he made her want to try. She craved him, and finally gave in to the feelings she'd denied for far too long. Even though she was worried the past would catch up with her, he made her happy, and his effect on her was powerful. Could Muriella put her faith in Stone and believe in forever?

I've been really looking forward to this story, and more of Stone. He's a thoughtful, kind, charming, easy going cowboy with a heart of gold who is easy to love. He's swoony book boyfriend perfection! This was a beautiful romance about finding your soulmate, and the healing power of love. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more in the series!

🌟3.5 Stars!🌟

Muriella has never been on a date. But she promises three dates to a movie star Stone Jacobs. For six years, Stone has been patient, waiting and abiding his time and Muriella has been resisting him.

Muriella has had a troubled past and because of that her outlook on love and romance is skewed. She doesn’t think she deserves happiness. She needed someone strong, someone loyal, someone who loves her fiercely enough to bring down the walls around he heart.

This is a slow burn romance. At first, I was on the fence about the heroine, but the more I read more I understood her and the more I grew to love her. My heart hurt for her. Stone and Muriella’s story is a beautiful one. This is a great read for those who love slow burn romances and heroines you have to be patient with. Not everyone is perfect and I love how Muriella changed and I was rooting for her.

*****5 Compelling and Burning Stars*****

I first met Stone and Muriella in the first book in this series and totally fell in love with these characters. I couldn’t get enough of them and was counting down the days until their story would be published.

To start off, if you love a story about friend to lover…a slow burn romance…well developed characters and just overall feel good emotions…this is definitely the book for you to spend your time reading!

Stone absolutely blew me away with this book – the way he is patient and fights for what he wants, even if it means he has to go to the ends of the world to get past the barriers that Muriella has put up to deal with all of the pain from her past.

The author (s) did such a great job with their deliverance, build up, the depth of their writing…all emotions will grab you in this book!

A definite MUST READ!

4 Slow Burn Stars!

When I heard that Stone & Muriella were getting their own story, I gotta tell you, I was over the moon. I fell in love with these two in It’s Not Over and man, was I dying for more!!

Stone & Muriella’s story took me on one heck of a ride with so many emotions and feels. From the moment you start reading their story, you can’t help but be hooked on the two of them. Muriella has never been on a date and if she had it her way, she never would. However, as a favor to her bff, she agrees to three dates with the man that’s been starring in her dreams. She’s always wanted more from Stone and can’t deny the chemistry between the two of them, but secrets from her past will try to keep Stone at bay. She desperately tries to keep Stone at arms lengths, but Stone is a determined man and isn’t afraid to go after what he wants. And what he wants is Muriella…..

I love, love, loved Stone and Muriella’s story. It was a beautiful friends to lovers romance with a great slow burn. Now, if you know me, then you know I’m not normally a fan of the slow burn. But, man, with these two. I couldn’t have asked for a better way for their romance to go. Stone and Muriella have fought their connection for so long. Each having their own demons to overcome. And I loved that they had to make these three dates happen. It took them both out of their comfort zone and made them face those demons of the past.

Stone is the guy that you just can’t help but fall in love with. He was sexy and sweet. Totally devoted to those who were important in his life. He was respectful of Muriella’s fears and didn’t let her past define her. He was so supportive of her and was just the light that she needed in her life. If anyone was going to show Muriella that there was good in this world, I am so glad that person was Stone. He was so loving and wasn’t afraid to fight for the woman he wanted. And that was just the guy that Muriella needed. She needed someone who was patient and understanding. Someone that was going to fight her demons and not leave when things got tough. Someone that wouldn’t rush her and would just love her no matter what. And thanks to Stone, Muriella didn’t give up. He showed her that life was worth living and that there really are good people in this world. And Muriella…she had so much to give. I loved her bravery and how she stepped out of her comfort zone with Stone. These two kept me glued to the pages and I just couldn’t wait to see how their story was going to end.

Three Dates was a terrific read from beginning to end. It is a slow burning friends to lovers romance. It’s got just the right amount of romance, drama and suspense. This book made me fall in love. It brought tears to my eyes and in the end, it left me with a big smile on my face. I really enjoyed getting lost in Stone & Muriella’s story and can not wait to see what this author has in store for us next.

I’ve never been on a date. <--- please for the love of GOD do not tell me that this heroine is a 36-year-old virgin?? I really hope that isn't the case, but who in the world reaches the age of 36 without having gone on at least ONE date??!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best!

Three Dates had potential to be a great love story, in the end it was just that. But for me getting to that point was long and drawn out.
The book was a slow starter for me, I actually put it down about 12 chapters in and read another book then picked it back up hoping it would get better. It took quite a few more chapters to truly get me interested.
Once we got to the meat of the story it was 75% through which killed me because I felt I spent way too long getting to the parts that were interesting and made me want to continue reading.
I hate to be so hard on the book but had it not been an ARC which I committed to reviewing it would have been a DNF for me since it took so long to get going.

Muriella has a past that only two people know about, it is dark, and it is horrific, and she lets no one near her because of this.  Daniel and Vivian are the only ones that are close to Muriella and that is the only way she can cope.  Stone Jacobs is a famous actor and six years ago he was accepted into Daniel’s inner circle.  Once they became friends he met a girl he knew was “the one”.  Daniel warned Stone to keep his distance from Muriella and never try to push past being friends.  Stone has been patient but when the situation presents itself and he’s able to blackmail Muriella into three dates he is determined to make her see that they are meant to be together.  Muriella feels out of her comfort zone but once she makes a promise she keeps to it.  Now with Muriella and Stone getting closer the past seems to be closing in on her and their friendship budding into something more isn’t the only thing at risk, now Muriella and Stone’s life might be hanging by a thread as well.  Muriella and Stone must wonder if those three dates were worth it.

Three Dates is a spin off from It’s Not Over by Grahame Claire.  With familiar characters that have a fierce love for each other, Three Dates is full of drama and sweet tender courting that will make all southerners proud.   When Muriella’s dark story comes out it is a horrible, heartbreaking story that unfortunately is too real for many, but Claire wrote it well and did justice to telling the side of a survivor.  Three Dates is an incredible story that reinforces the belief in family and love.  I give Three Dates 5-stars and highly suggest it to anyone that wants a great entertaining story.

"In Stone's arms, the rightness of being there, it became clear the past had ruled me. I was the only one with the power to end that."

I can say with all honesty that I did not think I coud love this book more than book one, It's Not Over, but the author(s) blew this one so far out of the stratosphere that my heart just couldn't help but fall for it.

Muriella will forever be haunted by her past, a past so horrrific she will not let it taint someone else's life especially Stone Jacobs. No matter how strong the pull toward him is, she will keep him at arms length because he deserves so much more than she can offer him.

"Whatever was between us was so powerful, it was blinding. I feared I'd hurt him. I feared getting lost. I feared I'd need him too much."

Ever since Stone became friends with her through Daniel he knew that he had found someone special. No matter how long the wait he was determined to gain her trust and show her the family she could have.

"I don't want you to be afraid. Not with me, I want to be your safe place."

This book has all the feels!!!! Your heart will feel like it has gone through an emotional wringer before you finally get to the end. And that ending. Oh what a beautiful ending it was indeed.

"Choice. It was mine, and he gave that to me."

Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction book blog.
This is my first book by this writing duo, and the story certainly took me on a wild ride. There is so much going on in this book, for both Stone and Muriella. At the start of the book I felt a bit lost. I think I may have to of read the first book, but apart from that, this story could easily be read as a standalone.
My heart broke after reading Muriella's past. Leading up to it, I knew it would be something horrific, but I was absolutely shocked after reading that part.
Stone is a great man. His granddaddy told him he would know when he found the woman he would love forever. And he has waited patiently for Muriella.
Their romance is a slow burn, and I think it was written very well keeping me guessing what was to happen next.

This was my first Grahame Claire book and it definitely will not be my last.

I love the connections between all the characters and their family ties.
This was a beautiful story that does have it's dark points but is a perfect story that shows what happens when you don't give up.

Three Dates
And they did it again! These authors are sure to get in my list of automatic purchase button. This book is everything swooning, but more much, much more. The story has a rich texture with multilayers of emotions. A tapestry of intriguing plot, strong characters and the unmeasurable value of a family. And romance. So much romance.
Muriella’s story is not for the faint of heart, but it’s worth reading every single word. In Stone, she finds the healing she so needs and deserves. And I was at the edge of my seat rooting for her to find it. This book broke my heart and put it back together. Full and content for having read such a marvelous story. It will stay with me. And I’m sure I’ll reread it.
I can not recommend this book enough.

Loved this book. If you read it's not over..then you have met both Stone and Muriella. This book is a stand-alone, so you don't have to read book 1 (but you should 🤗). Muriella has some dark secrets that we don't know about, but Stone is there for her from the get go. He has been in love with her for a very long time, and she secretly has loved him as well. However, she is scared and feels unworthy of letting anyone love her, but Stone shows her how true love is supposed to be.

With some surprise twists and turns, this story couldn't have been together written any better. I voluntarily reviewed this book. It's raw and vivid and full of emotion. It's definitely worth the read.

Muriella is thirty six, has never been on a date because of her troubled past.. Twenty two years ago she escaped her cruel father, who is a maffia boss. The story was very slow, I got bored. Besides that, after twenty two years, why didn’t she seek help? A therapist? Someone who helped here overcome her troubles from te past? The relationship with Daniel and Vivian didn’t feel healthy at all, they should help her overcome her troubles, but all they did was let her maintain her behaviour.

💝NO one deserves happiness more than you do my -
Pretty
Strong.
Vulnerable Muriella.

🥺🥺🥺🥺GOD THAT NAAAAME IS SOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL.

#️⃣PLOT#️⃣

🌈I won't make this much lenghty and i will reveal everything to you.

🌈So, Muriella is actually living in NYC with the couple Daniel and Vivian from BOOK#1.

🌈 Muriella works as a pre-school teacher in NYC.

🌈We are told that Daniel is her brother. Which is a lie. He is not her real brother.
He adopted Muriella several years ago.

🌈See, the thing is, and before i say anything else, DO NOT READ FURTHUR BECAUSE I AM ABOUT TO SPOIL IT HEAVILY AND IT'S TRIGGERING.

🌈So, where was I? Oh yes!! Right right.

🌈So, Muriella is actually a runaway princess.

🌈She ran away from a small kingdom in Spain, or was it Italy? I don't remember correctly , but all you need to know is, she ran away.

💖Muriella was a happy princess who lived with her parents and an older brother, Carlos(The H of Book#4).

🌈Her parents were SOOOOOOO in love with each other.

🌈They were a big happy family.

BUT.

🌈 Muriella and her mom and Carlos weren't allowed out of the castle. The King, Muriella's father, had enemies, blood-thirsty one's , who wanted to kill his family, take away his kingdom.

🌈So for this family's safety, the King, NEVER lets them out of the castle, things were always brought to the castle.

🌈But, after some time ,when Muriella was 12 year old , Muriella's mother, the queen became ........ irritated.

🌈She wanted her kids to see the world, go to the market, visit different beautiful places. Live a normal life.

🌈So, one day , without anyone's knowledge, the queen snuck the kids out of the castle. And while she was standing in the market-place with the kids, she was attacked by a rival soldiers.

🌈Muriella was saved. Carlos was saved. But sadly, they took the Queen with them.

🌈But , because the King loved his wife, he went out to rescue her, while Muriella sat waiting for both of them.

🌈Later that night , it rained heavily, the king returned.

🌈But there was no queen with him. He had an amputated hand of the queen with him in his left hand.

🟥As soon as Muriella saw this, she started crying, when the King , entered the castle and spotted Muriella............He............he................😭😭😭😭😭😭

🟥The fucking bastard took her to his bed and raped her!!!!!!!!!!!

🟥He raped her FOR A YEAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!

🌈Carlos, whenever tried to help her, he was beaten and bruised by his father.

🌈 Muriella was permanently tied to the bed by her father, nd he raped her CONTINUOULSY for a YEAR!!!!

🌈After a year, when Muriella turned 13, Carlos found a way to help Muriella, and so , he shipped her to America in a tiny bunker(away from the prying eyes), and handed her some cash. And told her that she must never ever return.

🌈 Muriella was found hidden in a box by Daniel, when Daniel was at the docks.

🌈Daniel felt some strange pull towards this helpless girl. So he adopted her and brought her home.

🌈 Muriella told everything to Daniel, and he promised her that he wud protect her with his life, and gave the girl his last name, and told everyone taht she was his little sister(🥺I LOVE DANIEL!!!!).

🌈Now, in the PRESENT time, Muriella is all grown -up. She is broken, vulnerable, and NEVER let's anyone close to her. You'll see when you read that she is.............so.........u'll see ok? She is JUST so much........traumatised.

🌈Stone Jacobs is a hollywood celebrity and a close friend of Daniel. He has been attracted to Muriella for 6 years , but because she always pushed so damn much , he never acted on his feelings.

🌈After too much begging , Muriella agrees on 3dates with him. Imagine, that he waited for six-fucking-years to go out with Muriella.

🌈These three dates was all it took Stone Jacobs to break those walls around Muriella.

🌈During these three dates, we get to see that STONE JACOBS IS A LIVING BREATHING BOOK BOYFRIIIIIIIEND

#️⃣MY THOUGHTS-

✅READ IT FOR STONE.

✅READ IT FOR STONE.

✅READ READ REEEEADDDD IT FOR STONE.

✅The book is a SLOOOW burn.

✅You'll hate Muriella for some time , because she is snarky and pushing too much , when Stone is all being sweet and swoony.

✅And that's because nearing the end , the big secret about Muriells's past is revealed.

✅After knowing the truth, you will fall for Muriella, and i bet you a hundred dollars that you'll cry after the big reveal.

✅So, be patient while reading this.

✅The Jacob's family was SOOOOO good.

✅They treated Muriella like there daughter. I REALLY loved them. Warm and sweet and loving family is all what Muriella needed at that point.

🥺🖤Daniel and Muriell'a relationship was also unique. I liked how he NEVER pushed her to do things, and he was so supportive and protective.

💜🔥AND OMGGGGG , THE SEX SCENE AFTER THEY GETY MARRIED!!!! AWWWW STONE BABE, YOU MELTED MY HEART!!!

😍😍😍😍🥺🥺🥺🥺IT WAS SOOOOOOO DAMN GOOD GUYSSS!!!!!

⭐⭐THE BEST PURSUING I HAVE EVERRRR READ.

🥺BEILEVE ME WHEN I SAY THAT IT WASNT EASY FOR STONE AT ALL , BECAUSE MURIELLS KEPT PUSHING AWAY AND SHE WAS AFRAID OF HER PAST.

😇😇😇BUT STONE DID ALL AND MUCH MORE TO KEEP AND UNDERSTAND AND LOVE MURIELLA!!!!

What a painful yet wonderful journey!

Muriella conquered my heart since It's Not Over. I was anxious to know her story, but I was also wary and afraid, rightfully so. She carried so much baggage, so many scars, so many justified fears. Every step she took was a battle, every breath was both a blesson and a curse. But still she was a survivor, she was strong and nurturing.
She slayed so many daily demons, and yet she loved and cared and out other's needs above her own.
She had such deep struggles and faced so many wars about things that we all take fro granted.
Even so, her faith never wavered.
And this is something I need to point. I didn't even realize how much I missed this subject until I saw it so strongly in this book. Muriella is a woman of faith. She loves God, she is devoted, she is thankful and she knows if there is someone that can help her and give her the right tools or the right people, He is the One.
And she wasn't a judgemental person about it. It's not often we see these kind of characters. Ones whose faith inspire us and give us hope and is not used as way of joke or judgement.
Such respectful faith made my heart full.

And Stone. Oh My, Stone. It was impossible not to love him! There are heroes we love to read, but it you actually met them, it would be a disaster. But Stone was the epitome of the book boyfriend. The one you wished was real, because he is incredible not only for the fictional world, but he is one you crave for the real life as well.
He was sweet, comprehensive, supportive, patient. Even if made mistakes (because as much as he was created, he was also real), he made them looking out for the ones he loved. He was a fixer and a caretaker for nature, so protecting his family was a like a second nature for him.
He was a family man by all means, either a family made by blood or by bond.
There are so many other things I wanted to say about him, but I'm in a lack of words. Everything I think about or write seems inadequate and not faithful for what he truly is.

Right now, I need to make arrengements, because he just got to my Top 5 book boyfriends list. Stone Jacobs has stolen my heart.

I flinched in pain, I grinned, I had unshed tears in my eyes, both from devastation and love, I feared, I celebrated, I wanted to see the ruin of someone, I felt my heart expand with hope. I felt faith and strentgh.

This book was wonderful. The plot was consistent and so touching. Even though I wanted to see the troubles being solved, I also wanted to savor the story. I didn't want it to end, and even now I'm tasting the characters and the love they deserve.

Exquisite.

I finished reading this book 2 days ago and it's taken me this long to get my thoughts together to form a review that is worthy of this awesome, incredible novel! Talk about a book hangover! I'm having a hard time reading anything else because Stone & Muriella will forever be in my heart. I had no doubt that I would love this book after reading It's Not Over (Paths to Love #1), but I had no idea that it would touch me in such a profound way. Stone is the perfect book boyfriend-swoony, sexy and sweet, but it's his heart, his soul, his belief in family and commitment that will break your heart and at the same time make you smile. I am so invested in these characters--loved that Daniel and Vivian didn't just make appearances, but were a huge part in the storyline, not to mention several new characters that I'm hoping (fingers crossed) we get their stories as well. The words flow so easily and seamlessly that I didn't even realize I had been reading for hours. And then I didn't want it to end because I didn't want to let go of these newfound friends. Love comes in all forms--what a beautiful message this book portrays. Do yourself a favor and read Stone and Muriella's beautiful, heartbreaking, heartwarming and profound story--you won't be sorry. I wish I could give it 10+ stars!

One of the top books I have read! I loved Muriella & Stone in It’s Not Over and I was so happy that they got to tell their story.

Stone & Muriella’s journey was not an easy one, but so worth it. There were some amazing twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. This book kept me on the edge! I had to find out what was going to happen and where it would lead.

Muriella was full of spunk, fear, and heart. I admired her strength. I loved watching her grow as a person and learn to lean on others. Stone was extremely swoon worthy! Stone was patient, protective, and all around sweet guy. I loved watching the relationship between Muriella & Stone progress to more. Never easy between these two, but definitely worth it.

I can’t wait for Mulaney’s story!

Robbed Of Love

This wonderful second book in the Paths To Love series blew me away once again. These amazing authors certainly know how to keep you gripped! The powerful force between the two main characters Muriella and Stone, was like a magnificent storm, building in intensity throughout this amazing story! Such a beautifully written gripping storyline, with amazing in depth characters that you absolutely connect with from the outset. I can only but highly recommend this amazing read!
Why does Muriella not trust any man? She has never been on a date with any man and has had to be blackmailed to go on her first date with Stone! Her fears and terrors define her! Who is she hiding from? Can Stone ever become a part of her life with the 3 promised dates or will her past catch up with her?

LOVE LOVE LOVED this book!

This is book 2 in the series and picks up near the end of book 1. This is Muriella and Stone's book and boy did I love it! I knew these two belonged together when reading them in book 1 but wondered how Muriella would ever be open enough with all of her past haunting her. Not easy but Stone was up to the job. LOVE LOVE LOVED this book!

I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Where to begin? Where to begin?

• With a story so moving it wraps you up in a warm fuzzy blanket that you don’t want to let go of till you’ve read the very last word.
• A story so compelling it makes you want more….more words, more story, more about our main characters.
• A story that not only shows what the meaning of true love is, it teaches the meaning as well.
• A story that makes you hyperventilate because you are so entrenched with the main characters you forget to breathe.

Grahame Claire is a master story teller. She (is it a "she"?) not only articulates in her storytelling, she weaves a complicated story line with so much depth, if you plunged off the cliff you wouldn’t reach the bottom, and yet, she makes it all so simple to follow. Three Dates……what can possibly happen in just three simple dates? Well my friends that is the story which makes this book so special!

We meet Muriella Morales in the first Paths to Love book, It’s Not Over. Rescued by Daniel ten years earlier as a young girl, he takes her in, protects her and makes her his family. And when he meets the love of his life, Vivian, she embraces Muriella as well….as a sister, a long lost friend, a family member that they can never be without. Now we move on to Muriella’s story (after learning about Daniel and Vivian)……and that’s where Three Dates begins…..exactly where It’s Not Over ends. But to understand Muriella’s story you have to understand her past….complicated, tragic……and the man that has loved her for the past 6 years. Stone Jacobs. Tall, handsome, Hollywood movie star, down to earth Texan, close friend of Daniel and Vivian, he has loved Muriella since the moment he met her…..but she was fragile, broken and Jacob didn’t know why….or how. So he took his time, and I mean he took his time…..did I mention “patience extraordinaire” is his middle name??? He carefully “woos” Muriella and through circumstances of his design, he now has three dates with her. Three Dates to prove his love and the kind of man he is…..the only kind of man that Muriella can truly trust with her broken soul. The only kind of man she can truly love. The only kind of man she knows she will be loved in return, she will be cherished. The only kind of man that will keep her safe and give her a family she truly deserves.

But Muriella has a problem. She feels she is damaged and undeserving. She fights Stone at every turn. She is not cut out to date. Love is not in the cards for Muriella. And Stone?? He will do anything and everything he can to win her, to convince her, to assure her, she is worthy of not only his love, but her own love to love herself as well.

A roller coaster ride?? Yes!! A ride Grahame Claire excels at? YES!!! A ride a reader will not only enjoy, but whoop for joy!! YOU BET!!! This is a book that can’t be put down….a book that shouldn’t be put down!!! A book that not only has the romance we all crave for, but a love that excels and a story-line we can’t imagine not having read, a book that makes us crave the next book in this series…..are you hearing me Grahame??? I’m ready for the next book!!!!

Stone and Muriella.
This book really drew me in, I was captivated from the beginning.
I would advise reading book 1 first as this book is dated after the events of that book have taken place and we meet Stone in that book and Muriella, as she is a close friend of Daniel and Vivian.
It's a slow burn in the sense that they have known each other for 6 years and at the start of the book they are going on the the first of the three dates she promised him from book 1.
I loved Stone. He is totally enchanted with Muriella.
Muriella has obviously had a traumatic past and this is not revealed straight away.
It is dual POV.
Flashbacks to 6 years ago when Stone first became friends with the trio.

M has serious trauma issues and I've got to say Stone really had so much patience with her. As a reader I found her a bit frustrating at times, as Stone is so amazing and we don't know what has happened to her so when she rejects him, is snarky or down right rude it hurts him but he sticks with her, even though he doesn't know her past at the time either.

Even though their friendship spans 6 years and she has made it hard for him to progress much he hasn't been with another woman since they met.
Even before that he was no manwhore.
He says
“I’ve only been with three women. There wasn’t a single one I didn’t think there was at least the possibility of a future with.” I leaned back against the railing. “I’m like an old loyal dog. I don’t like change. I have no interest in leaving behind a sting of women"
This is even though he is an actor and has plenty of opportunities.
M can't bear to be touched and has never had a date as she has ruled out any kind of future with anyone else.
It has a series subject matter in the background but there is humour.
Plenty of previous couple as their relationship develops.
HEA.
Epilogue.
Secondary characters with breadcrumbs dropped for future books.
