Please note that in order to become a member of BVKN, you will be required to pay for and successfully complete a Black & Veatch designated background check (cost starts at $99) as well as provide proof of insurance coverage which must include: commercial general liability insurance policy, automobile liability insurance policy, professional liability insurance policy, and worker’s compensation insurance and employer’s liability insurance.

As an independent contractor to BVKN, you will receive a 1099 tax from and will not be a W-2 employee. The proof of insurance will be required at the time that a task order is presented to the member. You must be eligible to work in the United States and currently be living in the United States."
