Today, we are releasing our third quarterly Radeon™ Pro Software for Enterprise driver of 2019, 19.Q3, optimized for the leading applications in today’s professional workflows. Our latest driver also continues to prove the value of updating your professional drivers, with up to 2x better one-year performance gains than our competition1 and Day Zero certifications to help ensure that many professional applications will be certified on the 19.Q3 driver prior to its release.

Software Optimized for Your Workflow

Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q3 provides outstanding performance versus the competition in some of the most popular professional applications, for both design and manufacturing and media and entertainment. Along with this performance, our software both supports the advanced features of these applications and builds on that support with innovative technologies like Radeon™ ProRender and Radeon ReLive for VR.2

Design, Simulate, and Innovate with Siemens NX

When using Siemens NX, Radeon Pro graphics users can take advantage of our OpenCL code optimizations for analysis and simulation, support for advanced studio mode, and visualize their designs in VR wirelessly using Radeon ReLive for VR2. The 19.Q3 driver is expected to be certified3 for Siemens NX and when tested with SPECapc® for Siemens NX 10, using Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q3 the Radeon Pro WX 7100 is up to 51% faster than the NVIDIA® Quadro RTX 4000.4

PTC Creo, Streamlining Design to Manufacture

Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise’s advanced OpenGL® optimizations and support for Order Independent Transparency (OIT) and Vertex Buffer Object (VBO) helps provide an optimal experience for PTC Creo® users when using Radeon™ Pro graphics. CAD designers can also use our Radeon ProRender plug-in to create photorealistic renderings of their creations. Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q3 is expected to be certified3 for PTC Creo, and when tested with SPECviewperf® 13 creo-02 enables the Radeon™ Pro WX 3200 to be up to 26% faster than the NVIDIA Quadro® P620.5

Experience a New Level of Realism with SOLIDWORKS

SOLIDWORKS® users using Radeon Pro graphics and software benefit from our support of Order Independent Transparency (OIT) for more accurate designs and SOLIDWORKS RealView® for realistic real-time previews. For photorealistic visualization, AMD support is coming later this year to SOLIDWORKS® Visualize 2020, and designers can use Radeon ReLive for VR2 to wirelessly view their creations in VR using SOLIDWORKS® eDrawings Professional. Along with Day Zero certification, when tested with SPECapc® for SOLIDWORKS® 2017 Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q3 helps the Radeon™ Pro WX 2100 to be up to 25% faster than the NVIDIA Quadro® P400.6

Push the Boundaries of Content Creation with Autodesk Maya

When using Autodesk Maya®, Radeon Pro graphics users benefit from Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise’s Day Zero certification, and our Radeon ProRender plug-in for Maya enables fast, easy, and incredible photorealistic renderings. On top of that, when tested with SPECapc® for Maya® 2017, using Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q3 the Radeon™ Pro WX 7100 is up to 30% faster than the NVIDIA® Quadro RTX™ 4000.7

Radeon Pro Software Keeps Getting Faster

Not only do the professional application optimizations found in Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise help accelerate your workflows but you can also boost your productivity over the lifetime of your Radeon Pro GPU by updating your driver thanks to the continuous performance improvements in every driver release, in part due to AMD’s close technology partnerships with ISV application developers.

And when you compare our one-year performance gains to the competition, AMD delivers up to 2x better annual improvement that the competition – when tested with SPECviewperf® 13, Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q3 is up to 14% faster than the 18.Q3 driver, whereas the NVIDIA Quadro® Optimal Driver for Enterprise (ODE) R430 U4 (431.02) only delivered up to 7% more performance when compared with the 2018 R390 U6 (391.74) driver.1

Designed for Multitasking

When you work, you’re rarely doing only one thing at a time, and Radeon Pro graphics and Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise together continue to deliver outstanding performance even in the most demanding environments when compared to our competition. When tested with the demanding SPECviewperf® 13 medical-02 benchmark and the Prime95 CPU stress test running in the background, the Radeon™ Pro WX 4100 only suffered a 2% performance hit compared to the 49% drop in performance you’d get when using the NVIDIA Quadro® P1000.8

Enterprise-Grade Quality Through Extensive Testing

Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise is torture tested to be ready for demanding 24/7 environments, with extensive OEM platform testing and comprehensive ISV certification testing delivering the quality enterprises demand. Our leading software stability and quality mean that AMD’s software is trusted by industry leaders like Google, Dell, HP, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Check out the video below for more about Radeon Pro Software’s enterprise-grade quality.

Over 1000 Day Zero Certifications Delivered

Launched in 2018 with our 18.Q4 driver, our Day Zero Certification Program keeps going from strength to strength and when you add the certifications of Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q3, we have delivered over 1000 Day Zero ISV application certifications since the program launched9. Additionally, AMD still has more listed current ISV application certifications than the competition for drivers published during that period.10
