UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry will see over 180 doctorate of dental surgery, dental hygiene, and advanced education students cross the stage during its 119th Commencement Ceremony at 3 p.m. Friday, May 10, at NRG Arena.

UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry is ranked first in Texas and 10th nationally among dental schools that received research funding from the National Institutes of Health in 2023, according to the annual Blue Ridge rankings.
Known by several names throughout its history, UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry has served Southeast Texas since 1905, providing a broad range of services, from fillings to reconstructive surgery. Patients are cared for by students and residents under faculty supervision.
Each year, we enroll 100 DDS and 40 dental hygiene students. UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry students gain clinical skills at on-site clinics, hospitals, and through community outreach projects. Advanced and continuing education programs are offered as well.
