Committee on Honors and Academic StandingTo award certain Yale college academic prizes, to consider petitions for exceptions to the academic regulations, and to consider petitions for special divisional majors

Committee on MajorsTo conduct periodic reviews of all departmental and interdisciplinary major programs in Yale college and to consider proposals for adding new majors

Course of StudyTo consider all proposals for new or significantly revised courses to be offered in Yale College; to consider proposals for changes to requirements of majors; to conduct from time to time special projects concerning the academic practices and standards of Yale College. To do so, the HSC assesses that appropriate steps are taken to respect the autonomy of participants, to minimize the risks to participants, and to ensure that the burdens and benefits of the research are justly distributed

Student Advisory Committee on Science and QRTo advise the Associate Dean for Science Education on any matters related to undergraduate education in science and/or quantitative reasoning
