Would your library be interested in bringing the citizen science programming and/or kits to your community?
Clear selection
While the kits and programs are designed to be low-cost, we recognize the need for staff time to obtain the kits, move them into circulation, promote the kits and programs, and address the related needs of patrons.  Would your library be interested  in applying for small library grants (similar to LSTA microgrants, or National Library of Medicine grants) to purchase the project resources such as kits, promotional items, facilitation/programming ideas and supporting staff time?
Clear selection
With or without the mini-grants, would your library consider a commitment of $1500/year in in-kind support for estimated one hour per week of staff time for training, assembling kits, and promoting the program, etc?  Libraries that commit to in-kind support will have access to additional resources, support from the project team, enhanced promotional support and online professional development training culminating in a certificate from ASU and SciStarter.
