2022 (R-Sr. – Montana): Hauck is expected to play a vital role in Montana's defense. Started the season needing just 34 tackles to break school record and 110 tackles to break the Big Sky Conference record for career stops.

Continued an already historic career with another dominant defensive season in Maroon and Silver, leading the team in tackles with 128 to move him up to 364 career stops, good enough for third all time in school history with a season remaining… Registered 10+ tackles in 8 games on the year… Logged a sack and forced fumble at Northern Arizona for a loss of nine yards with a game-high (and season-high) 14 tackles… Forced three fumbles on the season… Broke up a pass versus Dixie State and Northern Colorado.

Hauck posted the fourth-most tackles in the Big Sky and the fourth-most in the FCS by any sophomore with 129… Started all 14 games… Had nine games with 10-plus tackles including six-straight in October and November… Montana’s third-leading tackler behind Jace Lewis and Buck Buchanan Award-winning Dante Olson… Tallied five TFLs and three sacks – the fourth-most on the team… Had his first career interception against North Alabama.
 
2018 (R-Fr. – Montana):
• Seventh in voting for 2018 STATS FCS Jerry Rice Award for the nation’s top freshman

• Co-recipient of the Golden Helmet Award, honoring the team’s hardest hitter
Was the nation’s top freshman tackler and the Big Sky’s fifth-leading tackler overall with a total of 95 tackles … After transferring from Northern Arizona, Hauck joined the team in time for spring drills after being granted a waiver by the Big Sky and NCAA to compete in the 2018 season … Earned the starting safety position and impressed with seven total tackles (four solo tackles) and a PBU in his first ever college football game vs. UNI (9/1) ... Hauck made a solid contribution to his team’s win vs. Drake (9/8) putting up 6 tackles and 0.5 TFL’s ... The young safety recorded 11 tackles against Western Illinois (9/15) ... Hauck raised eyebrows once again recording a career-high 17 tackles against Cal Poly (9/29) ... Recorded 11 tackles and half a TFL vs. Portland State (10/6) ... Had 8 tackles, half a TFL, and a pass break-up vs. #6 UC Davis (10/27) ... In addition to a TFL, Hauck led his team in solo tackles as he recorded 7 at Southern Utah (11/3) ... Hauck contributed to his team’s road victory over Idaho (11/10) with 6 total tackles and 2 pass break-ups on the day ... Hauck completed his break-out season with a 10-tackle performance against rival Montana State (11/17)

High School: Competed at Del Norte under head coach Pat Coleman … Spent his first-two seasons at Coronado High School … Set school records for tackles and led the league and division… Finished third in the state in tackles … Was a four-time team MVP … Also competed in basketball, where he was a two-time Defensive MVP
 
Personal: Parents are Bobby and Stacy Hauck of Missoula… Father Bobby Hauck is the head coach for the University of Montana football team... Uncle Tim Hauck played in the secondary for Montana, earned All-American accolades in 1988 and 1989, and is currently the safeties coach for the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles... Majoring in Management Information Systems.
