In Honor Of Maria Garcia

This fundraiser has been set up to honor Maria Garcia, a beloved 3rd grade Korematsu teacher. Maria lost her battle with pancreatic cancer late this summer.
One of Maria's passions was for endangered species. She did amazing lessons about these with her 3rd grade classes.
In order to honor her and give to the education, research, and help of endangered species, we are setting up this fundraiser to donate to the Sacramento Zoo. With a $600 donation to the Sacramento Zoo, they will put a brass paver with an inscription to Maria in their Rare Feline Center courtyard, alongside the walkway in front of the big cats, or in front of the chimpanzee exhibit (just added in 2018!)
We would love to be able to support Maria in this way! Any donation amount is appreciated.
As soon as we have met the $600 amount, we will send it to the Sacramento Zoo in Maria's honor.
