Swamptronica Phenomenon: Dirtwire Announces Concerts in Missoula & Bozeman

Self described “swamptronica” trio Dirtwire will bring their string centric, electro-infused sound to Montana for two shows Spring 2020: the first at the Top Hat in Missoula on Friday, April 24th and the second at the Rialto in Bozeman on Saturday, April 25th.

Dirtwire came to the Top Hat the past two years and packed the house both times. Check out photos from the high energy shows here. We wouldn’t be surprised to see them sell out both shows this time around.

If you’re not familiar, Dirtwire is somewhat of a supergroup — consisting of David Satori of Beats Antique, Evan Fraser of The Dogon Lights & Bolo, and Mark Revelry of Jed and Lucia. The band sits on the back porch of Americana’s future, conjuring up a whirlwind of sound using traditional instrumentation, world percussion, soundscapes, and electronic beats. Their 7th and most recent album Electric River was released in 2019. It continues to exhibit the genre defying music they’ve been putting out since their self-titled 2013 release.

They’re also known for their mysterious live performances, where a whirlwind of globally sourced rhythms and beats comes together to form the spawn of Americana and psychedelic electronica.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 7th at 11AM. Logjam presale tickets will be available Feb. 6th. Complete details can be found in each of the event pages below.
