Technology Talks With Industry Professionals

Tech Bytes is a FREE technology talk program open to the public. The program is coordinated and sponsored by the Computer Science program and in partnership with the Delta Phi Chapter of Epsilon Pi Tau.

  1. Social Media OPSEC, Targeting Analysis and Countermeasures with Rich Wickersham. The presentation will review the continuing need for employee and corporate Operations security (OPSEC) in social media platforms with a focus on LinkedIn. Date: Monday, March 1, 6:00p - 8:00p ET.   2. Implementation of STEM Education in Australia with Mr. David Ellis. David is also the author of the new text “Teaching STEM in the Secondary School: Helping Teachers Meet The Challenge.” This talk is presented by the International EPT Office and Jerry Streichler Center.   3. Print Media Technologies from German to English with Dr. Volker Jansen. Dr. Jansen Volker is the Academic Dean of the Print Media Technologies program at Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart Germany. He is also the Trustee of the new fifield chapter in Stuttgart. Dr. Jansen will discuss the new Print Media Technologies program and the transition from German to English as language of instruction along with recruiting students from around the world.
