Hardships can happen to anyone. Our STLP understands this and wanted to help people out with a hardship they may have. This became our purpose for creating and operating The Blake L.E.M.O.N.S. Project.

These are examples of the compassion care kits that we collect items for, put together, and send to Volunteers of America each month.

We created a Feature Video about our project.

Lyrics to our rap we created at the end of the video:

Lemonade, come and get you some

Lemonade, come and get you some

Lemonade, come and get you some

Donate before the time comes

(repeat 2x)

Our STLP is taking a stand

We’re here to help the homeless

They need a helping hand

Come and join us…

help us help a friend

Go and buy an item

Or maybe even 10?

If you bring an item

We have a gift for you

A fresh cup of lemonade

A thank you note too.

We appreciate your kindness

Your loving parents too

You helped a friend in need

Who’s less fortunate than you.

So all that’s left to say is

THANK YOU!

Lemonade, come and get you some

Lemonade, come and get you some

Lemonade, come and get you some

Donate before the time comes

(repeat 2x)

Our parent volunteers listened to what we wanted, donated their time, and built our beautiful lemonade stand for us!

This project is brought to you by our STLP students at Blake Elementary in Jefferson County Public Schools in Louisville, Kentucky. We worked together and created this website.
