American Opioid is a research-backed fictional narrative about the opioid crisis. The narrative will run through four seasons. Additional episodes will feature interviews with real-life individuals who are working with the crisis in various capacities. About the Creator: Jamal Khan is the writer and narrator of the podcast. As a Presidential Management Fellow, he worked on opioid policy issues for the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs during the Obama Administration. A Berkeley and Harvard Law graduate, he is a licensed attorney in the State of California.
