The Department of Local Affairs is responsible for strengthening Colorado's local communities and building capacity by providing strategic training, research, technical assistance, and funding to localities.
DOLA by the Numbers
- Supported the creation of at least 10,000 new affordable housing units
- Implemented 18 resiliency actions in accordance with locally-driven resiliency roadmaps
- Provided funding to support development of 800 units of affordable housing in communities that adopt qualifying innovative housing and land use strategies
