Music that Inspires Change and Cultivates Sustainability:
In March 2017, the University of North Carolina Wilmington hosted The Nile Project for a concert and four-day residency, featuring musicians from the 11 countries in the Nile River basin. They use their inspiring music as a catalyst to inform people across the globe about the importance of collaboration and cultivating water sustainability.
The Nile countries face serious issues of sustainability and water management. These musicians travel the globe on tours and visit universities to educate the public, bring awareness about sustainability, and inspire change both locally and globally.
