ABOUT

Meredith Courville is the senior advisor, digital communications for the AARP Public Policy Institute (PPI). In this role, she is responsible for managing, measuring, and executing digital efforts across multiple platforms to raise PPI's visibility, thought leadership, and impact. She also leads social media initiatives, works closely with PPI experts to create digital content, and maximizes the reach of PPI's webpages, blog, newsletter, and e-mails. 

She previously served as the communications advisor for the Center to Champion Nursing in America (CCNA) at PPI. In this role, she was responsible for strategic communications and outreach for CCNA and the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action. Her responsibilities included speechwriting, media relations, and leading content development and creation, which helped the Campaign reach a wide range of influential audiences. She also managed the Campaign’s high-traffic blog and website.

Before joining AARP, she worked at the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), where she developed and implemented marketing and communications campaigns, managed the organization’s social media presence and strategy, and handled media relations. She also worked as a writer and editor for the organization’s award-winning publications. 

She holds a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ohio University.
