Carly Rae Baron, age 23, passed away on 11/1/2020. Carly was a loving daughter, adoring sister, and compassionate friend. If you were lucky enough to have known Carly, you would have known how much she loved her family and friends. Her laughter was contagious, and the room lit up when Carly arrived. Carly was an aspiring model and an avid basketball player with a love of and respect for life. She will be missed so very much.
Carly is survived by her parents, Mark and Crystal Baron; her brothers Colin Baron and Bradley (Hollie) Williams, sisters Amber (Joshua) Clarke and Taylor Baron; her maternal grandmother Paula Welsh; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Carly was born on 10/17/1997 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a 2016 graduate of Eugene Ashley High School in Wilmington, NC. She also attended Cape Fear Community College and was a student at UNC Wilmington at the time of her passing.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday 11/4 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Covenant Moravian Church, 4126 South College Road, Wilmington, NC 28412. A private funeral service will be held on Thursday 11/5 for immediate family. There will be a public interment service following the funeral service at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a memorial bench to be placed at the Oleander Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in her honor.
