ALESSIA MOSCA
Secretary-General of Italia-ASEAN Association and Vice President of Fuori Quota

Alessia Mosca is Secretary-General of Italia-ASEAN Association and Vice President of Fuori Quota. Between 2014 to 2019, she was a Member of the European Parliament and, working as member of the INTA Committee,  she closely monitored the negotiations between the EU and third countries – such as Canada, Vietnam, Japan and Singapore, and the trade relationship with China .In particular, during the legislature, she became coordinator of the INTA Committee for the S&D Group and vice-chair of the Delegation for relations with the Arab Peninsula.

From 2008 to 2014 she was a member of the Italian Parliament, where she was appointed secretary of the Public and Private Sector Employment Committee first, and then coordinator for the European Union Policies Committee.

In 2011 she signed the so called “Golfo-Mosca” law, the Italian law 210/2011 that introduces gender quotas in the boards of listed companies. She was also one of the main sponsors of the “Controesodo” law, a norm that facilitated the circulation of talents to and from Italy.

Nominated Young Global Leader (WEF) in 2009, she is a 2010 Rising Talent (Women's Forum for the Economy and Society). In 2013 she received the “World of Difference Award” of the International Alliance for Women for her merits in the promotion of female leadership and empowerment. Her activity focuses mainly on European affairs, international trade, gender issue and technological innovation.

Nicoletta Luppi
President and Managing Director, MSD Italy

Nicoletta Luppi graduates with a Honours Degree in Modern Languages & Literatures and then earns a master’s degree in Business Administration from the "L.U.I.S.S." University School of Management in Rome.

In 1993 she joins MSD, covering a number of positions with increasing responsibilities, ranging from the lead of the Cardiovascular-Metabolic Franchise to creating and leading the Market Access & Commercial Operations, expanding her expertise throughout the entire portfolio of MSD products.

​

In 2012, she is appointed President and Managing Director of Sanofi Pasteur MSD, the Joint Venture between Sanofi Pasteur – the Vaccine Division of Sanofi – and MSD Vaccine Division and she is also President of the Vaccine Group in Farmindustria for 2015-2016.

​

In 2015, she became President and Managing Director of MSD Italy, first woman ever to hold such role within the Italian affiliate of the Multinational Pharmaceutical Company Merck & Co.

In 2016 she is nominated President of the Alumni LUISS Business School Association.

In March 2017 she is selected by AMREF to act as testimonial of the NGO’s social media campaign against female genital mutilations and, again in 2017, she is honoured with the prestigious award “Premio Minerva-Donna D’Eccellenza” in recognition of her leadership focused on creating an environment able to foster work-life balance, inclusion and diversity.

Rossana Revello

Entrepreneur, Chair of the Technical Group on Corporate Social Responsibility, Confindustria

Rossana Revello has been a member of Confindustria for a long time and over the years she held various positions both at local and national level. Since June 2016 she is Chair of the Technical Group on Corporate Social Responsibility. 

On behalf of Confindustria, she is advisor to the Coordination Committee for the Fair and Sustainable Wellness Indicators (BES) of the National Council for Economic Affairs and Labour (CNEL) and the Business and Industry Advisory Committee of the OECD (Organization for Cooperation and Economic Development) in which she participates to the meetings of the International Investment & Responsible Business Conduct Committee and the Responsibility Business Conduct / Multinational Guidelines Conduct Group.

She represents Confindustria in AsviS – the Alliance for Sustainable Development. She is Chair of Jury for the assignment of the Areté Award for the best responsible communication.

Rossana Revello is an entrepreneur and is president of Chiappe Revello, an advisory firm established in 1985 together with national and international partners. Personally supervising the activities of public affairs communication strategies, stakeholder engagement and reporting for several companies in environmental, energy, industry, infrastructure segments.

Maggie Berry
Executive Director for Europe, WEConnect International

Maggie Berry is Executive Director for Europe for WEConnect International, a global organisation championing supplier diversity in procurement and helping majority owned women businesses to connect into the corporate supply chain. WEConnect International’s corporate members represent $1 trillion in annual purchasing power and are true pioneers in inclusive sourcing and global supplier development in Europe. Maggie has lead responsibility for the organisation in Europe and her role involves developing corporate and public sector support as well as growing and supporting a network of c1,500 women owned businesses across Europe. Previously, Maggie ran womenintechnology.co.uk – an online job board, recruitment and networking forum for women working in the technology profession in the UK. Maggie remains informally involved with championing women in the technology profession and is a Freeman at the Information Technologists' Company in the City of London. In June 2019, Maggie was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in recognition of her services to women in business and technology.

Mayank Shah

Founder & CEO, Minority Supplier Development UK (MSDUK)

Mayank is the founder and CEO of Minority Supplier Development UK (MSDUK)- UK’s premier non- profit membership organisation championing diversity and inclusion in public and private sector supply chains. MSDUK, since its inception in 2006 has worked with and supported over 3000 ethnic minority businesses and 120 Fortune 500 firms, generating more than £700m worth of business for ethnic minority businesses. Before moving to the UK from India in 2000, Mayank ran a successful business for 16 years procuring steel and hardware for some of the largest OEMs and infrastructure projects in India. With an MBA from Leeds and doctoral research on supplier diversity, he established MSDUK that has now become a globally recognised supplier diversity advocacy network that is making a positive difference and promoting inclusive economic growth.

Igor šuran
Executive Director, Parks – Liberi e Uguali

Igor is the Executive Director of Parks – Liberi e Uguali, Italy’s only non-profit employers’ association engaged in LGBT inclusion and diversity management in the workplace.

​

Croatian by birth and Italian by adoption, Igor is a multilingual business manager with a previous 15-year experience as a corporate and investment banker in various management positions in a primary international bank.

As Executive Director of Parks, member of the its Board of Directors and its legal representative, Igor is responsible for the business development and enlargement of the Association’s shareholding, with high-level representation in Italy and abroad with respect to member and prospect member companies, foreign diplomatic missions, leaders of the Public Sector and of the institutions of higher education. He is a trainer on diversity management, inclusive leadership and LGBT inclusion to businesses, holds university lectures and is  a speaker in public conferences and events.

Parks currently encompasses 70 major multinational and Italian companies, leaders in their respective business sectors and in global and LGBT inclusion. Parks is the promoter of its annual Parks LGBT Diversity Index – launched in 2013 - Italy’s only benchmark for policies and practices related to LGBT inclusion in the workplace.

Megan Stowe

Greater European Region (GER) Procurement Director, Corporate Strategic Procurement International Supplier Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager Intel Corporation

Megan has been at Intel for 23 years working in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK during this time.  Megan started her career in Sales and Marketing in Australia working in PR and events management and then moved to Hong Kong to start up their SMG site procurement in Asia. During this time Megan covered a variety of roles in Procurement including Sales and Marketing, Travel, Relocation, Immigration and HR.

Megan has predominantly held Global positions; setting global procurement and supply chain sustainability strategies, performance metrics and managing global teams. She has worked and lived in Asia Pacific and EMEA.  Currently, Megan manages teams across the indirect services procurement supply chain working with the different verticals (Sales and Marketing, HR, Travel, IT, Logistics, Facilities Management etc.) within the EMEA region.  Megan works with her team on implementing global strategies locally and driving local strategies where it is needed.

In addition to this role; Megan is managing the International Supplier Diversity and Inclusion program which has a key focus on Women and Minority owned business in our supply chain.  The key objective of this program is to ensure we are working with an inclusive supply chain and to increase our spending with diverse businesses across the globe at the tier 1 and 2 levels, while developing our pipeline of inclusive sourcing opportunities.

In 2017 Megan represented the UK at the W20 in Germany and attended the Global Citizen event in 2017 and 2018 to promote what Intel is doing in this space.  She has been recognized by winning many awards from Procurement Leaders, Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, Procurecon and EDA for the work she and her team have done. Megan is also a board member of WeConnect International, the Advisory Chair and Director of WeConnect Europe. Intel is also a Charter Member of MSDUK. Megan is Irish, Australian and South African by nationality and grew up in Africa. She graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa with a MD Psychiatry / Sports medicine.

Luca Guzzabocca

A highly respected professional in his field, Luca has more than 25 years of procurement and supply management experience. He's served numerous Italian and multinational companies, including Esa Elettronica, Gewiss, Vemer, Black & Decker, Riello Group, GlaxoSmithKline and Gruppo Montepaschi.

Eliano Apicella

Eliano Apicella is working in Barilla G. & R. F.lli (Leading Italian Food Company) since 1998. He has been appointed as Purchasing Director for Packaging and Promotional Materials in 2008. Currently; he is leading the Barilla Supplier D&I Program. Prior to this, he headed the Vendor Assurance Department, with the main responsibility to guarantee the conformity of all the deliveries, raw materials, packaging, promotional materials and finished products to the specifications and company policies. Eliano was born in Italy in 1971 and he lives in Parma. He holds a degree in Chemical and Food Engineering from the University of Salerno in Italy. He is married.

Francesca Agnello

Emanuele Acconciamessa

For IBM and EDS (now Hewlett Packard Enterprise) he was responsible for services for large customers in the telecommunications sector, the definition of market strategies, innovation programs and the development of solutions for large multinational customers.

He has served as Senior Principal at Booz&Co and AT Kearney managing strategic planning, corporate reorganization, business process re-engineering and technology strategies for large clients. He previously worked in the IT Strategy group at Accenture.

He is currently CEO of auticon srl, a multinational technology services company that employs exclusively autistic consultants.

Professor Erika Mallarini

SDA Bocconi School of Management Professor in Government, Health and Not for Profit Department since 1999, Erika Mallarini managed research and training projects with major companies in the healthcare industry. She is the Coordinator of OCPS -Observatory on Private Consumption in Healthcare. Her research focuses on numerous issues related to management: HealthCare and Pharmaceutical Management & Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility, Trust Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Care Prevention and Compliance, Chronical and Fragile Patients Solution.

She is the author of numerous books and articles concerning the topics she has dealt with. Her works have been published in journals such as Research in Social & Administrative Pharmacy, Micro and Macro Marketing, Quaderni Società Italia Farmacologia, Aboutpharma and Mecosan and she participates in several International Scientific Committees and Advisory Boards for the launch of innovative drugs, in particular biotechnology.

After an initial start of career in the civil engineering consulting industry in the United States, Alessia has developed her career path in the Procurement function at Johnson & Johnson, working out of Belgium.

Alessia has covered multiple roles in Procurement, of both regional and global breadth, working across different categories like capital equipment, construction and R&D for the past year and half.
