About this event

With your help we plan on packing 37,000 meals for children and families who go hungry as well as beautifying New Haven through a clean up project.

We will begin with a morning rally to kick start United Way's fall campaign before the two groups split up for their service projects.

More details will follow as the day gets closer.

Both the meal packaging and park clean-up will be happening at the same time, please only sign-up for one of the two projects.

Registration is first come first serve.

This is family-friendly event! All children need to be accompanied by an adult. Families with very young children will be encouraged to participate in our outdoor park clean-up of Criscuolo Park, which has a great playground!

Groups are welcomed - please register each individual in your group.

If you sign up for the post event clean up please be willing to lift 25-35 pound boxes, also this shift will not start until 11AM.

If you are unable to attend the event and would still like to help us reach our goal of ending hunger you can donate here.

United Way of Greater New Haven, in partnership with Yale University, Yale-New Haven Health Systems, Comcast, and Dwight Hall, New Haven Parks and Recreation, and New Haven Public Schools will be joining families, friends, and neighbors for a day dedicated to our city.
