Overview
The UVM Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program is pleased to co-sponsor this one-day conference with the Vermont Lymphedema Network on oncology rehabilitation designed for generalist physical therapists and other health care professionals who would like to learn more about current screening, assessment and treatment of individuals with varying diagnoses of cancer. Case studies will be used to foster discussion and strategize evidence-based plans of care. 6.5 CEUs are available for Physical Therapists.

Guest Speaker: Mary Lou Galantino, PT, MS, Ph.D., MSCE, FAPTA
Dr. Mary Lou Galantino is a Distinguished Professor of Physical Therapy at Stockton University, Galloway, NJ, where she also coordinates an interdisciplinary Holistic Health Minor. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Scholar in the School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she conducts research on integrative medicine and chronic diseases. She is also a visiting professor at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
