Prayers Evie Lee

We need prayers for our niece Evie.  Evie Lee is a 6th grade student at Cairo Durham.  She is  a gentle soul who loves stuffed animals and playing with our daughter Rauri.  Evie’s story is every parent's nightmare.  About two weeks ago Evie woke up complaining of stomach pain.  Her mom Kelly Vaughn,took her to Emergent care thinking it may be her appendix.  The staff sent her to the hospital for further testing.  By the end of the day, Evie was admitted to Albany Med with a diagnosis of an atrial aneurysm. The team of doctors were shocked with this diagnosis, as this condition is generally only seen in much older adults.  The physicians told my sister, they had never seen this condition in a child before.  With that said, one week later, Evie was transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital.  She has been in Boston for almost 4 days now.  Her team is working diligently to prepare for a very intricate and intense surgery.  We are hoping that this will happen within the next several days, once the surgical team is in place and more testing results have come in.  This is the beginning of a long journey for both Evie and Kelly.  My family is asking for PRAYER WARRIORS right now.  In addition, we would welcome monetary contributions to help with lost wages , as her mom is a sole provider for the family, food and in the future, short-term housing in Boston.  Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the Ronald Mcdonald House is currently unavailable to help our family.  Once again, please keep my sweet beautiful niece in your prayers.  I will be updating this page as we gather more information.  Thank you in advance...Michelle and Bill Sullivan and Maggie Myer.
