2020 Goal is to raise funds online with our Talent Event that is replacing the Kite Festival.
2019 Update: We were able to donate 15 bicycles and $2000 in cash to the Oakland County Foster Closet.
2018 Update:
I am proud to say we reached last year’s goal, and we were able to donate 62 bikes, $800, and 25 helmets to the Foster Closet of Oakland County. We are continuing to help them and this year we will be conducting another Kite Festival at Boulan Park on August 4th, 1-5 pm.
Below is the statement from 2018:
Hello everyone, I am a Troy High Sophomore who has started this community organization Kids 2 Kids to help Foster Children. I started this last year by donating my birthday gifts to the Foster Closet in Oakland County. We are keeping the same gofundme page up to still collect donations!
My goal for 2018 Summer is to donate 50 bicycles to this cause. Please help in any way you can. We can even take used bikes. All the proceeds will be donated to the Foster Closet of Oakland County!
