Research Highlight: The Pointdexter Dr. Todd Farrell, Carlos Martinez Luna, and the rest of our research team at Liberating Technologies, Inc. created a prosthetic fingertip that could provide patients with the benefits of both a multi-articulating hand and a functional gripper in the same device. Although it isn’t currently available to the market, the Pointdexter is a research project that paves the way for the future of the prosthetics industry. Watch as Jodie O'Connell-Ponkos puts the Pointdexter to good use in her daily life. Great work and very motivated thought. We never seen before that type of hooks attached with finger. It's quite easy to do the job. Great job and congratulations to all.

It's a very clever and simple solution. I really like to see how simple actions can be possible now with this small clamp. Very great job !

I’m guessing it’s another miscellaneous CPT code that one has to purchase in addition to the multiarticulated TD? I really love it— just wish the insurance companies did too.
