WHAT are the YIRLI 2024 dates?

YIRLI 2024 will be taking place from July 30th through August 4th!

What are the pre-program expectations and workload?

Our participants will have opportunities to begin working on their MUN position papers prior to the program with support of mentors. We will also include pre-programming components, which will be detailed to accepted students.

what can i expect the days to consist of?

Accepted applicants will receive more information about this, but you will be able to find the daily schedule from YIRLI 2023 (all times EST) on the Schedule page. We are currently working on updating it with information for YIRLI 2024!

Is financial aid available for students applying to Yirli?

Yes, financial aid is available to any student applying to YIRLI whether international or domestic. We strongly encourage any student in need of financial aid to apply ASAP. Please find more information about our financial aid program here.

*Please note that the financial aid provided for the program covers only the program fees. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with expenses related to visas or flights at this time. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

is an interview part of the application?

Applicants are expected to complete a 90 second video response as part of the application. Applicants will be expected to respond to the following questions: “Highlight a global issue that you believe is often overlooked. How has it affected you, your community, and the broader world? Propose innovative solutions or initiatives that can raise awareness and drive positive change!” The application questions can be found here!

how much is YIRLI 2024 tuition, room, and board?

YIRLI tuition for our program is $2000 in addition to the $20 application fee. Financial aid is available for any applicant with need. This fee includes all programming, and room and board fees.

I participated in YIRLI 2023— can I apply for YIRLI 2024?

We welcome applications from new participants only; individuals who have not previously taken part in the program are eligible to apply.
