I grew up in Bountiful, Utah loving mathematics and astronomy, which I still do to this day! At the University of Utah I pursued a double major in Mathematics and Applied Physics, graduating with Bachelor of Science in both of these in 2017. Currently I am a student at Yale University, pursuing a PhD in Statistics & Data Science with plans to become a data scientist. While my current research primarily focuses on applying statistical and mathematical modeling to astronomy, I have a general interest for applying such machine learning techniques to essentially any form of data!

I have a wonderful wife, Bethany, and an adorable toddler son, Aaron. My hobbies include biking, basketball, soccor, and (of course) learning more about math and data science.
